Tuesday - Exercise Ball PushUps Ha Ha - love the demo you created chapf - that's about my speed for the push-ups (more like away) - if I'd tried to do as demo'd by Sauli I'd end up having a serious face plant - my arms, stomach, legs (well just everything) are my weak points.

Wednesday - Check in Day
Anybody watch the Biggest Loser? It's about this time in the season I start hating it, hah!

Well, you guys, this was definitely an off the wagon week for me. I only got in 2x of exercise. I had excuses! I missed twice for fun things -- a day trip and a concert -- and another day my walking buddy was sick. I also ate out more than usual because of all the fun things. And I missed my pickup of my box of fresh produce. BUT all was not lost. There is a new farmer's market very convenient to my home on Sundays, so I went and checked it out! It was small but with some really nice stuff. I got veggies, greenhouse tomatoes, and grapefruit to tide me over until my next chance at a box of produce, which is tomorrow. I have had some really nice salads and tonight I am making the broccoli in the orange sauce again to go with my salmon. A yummy healthy meal. Looking forward to seeing what I get tomorrow. I continue to find the veggies a fun creative challenge and not a chore. This week I resolved to go for a short walk everyday during the work day, also. The campus where I work is interesting and has buildings that span a time period from the 1860s to the 1960s, so it is fun to walk around and good for me too. The lady in charge of the fitness challenge here at work has set up a tour as a treat for the fitness squad (as she calls it) of the oldest building. That's on Friday. History is my passion so I'm looking forward to that.

I am only down 2 tenths of a pound from last Wednesday, but my weight is yo-yoing up and down +/- a pound or so. Still trying to get a handle on what my daily goal needs to be. On the up side I have managed to walk 4 miles every morning for the last 3 days. Don't know how long that will last.

Ahhhh.....Wednesday again!!! Down another .5 lb for a total of -1 and I didn't exercise much. Still not cooking much either. Junie, you are making me want to find a Farmer's Market. Will see if I can find one fairly close. Need to get over to the Y and join up and quit messing around!!!! Not giving up!!!

Up ...down ...and all around! Seems like many of us are in the same boat. I did lose a pound but it is the same pound that I lose and put back on. Oh golly....sigh...
I actually have been walking...exercising...skating ----but I need more intensity...MORE SWEAT!
Food intake is not horrible but I still seem to dive into snacking some days. Where is my will power???? Haha
:oI should hang that bathing suit up in my bathroom....

Where did the Sauli pics originate? New or old? Pretty tight and lean body....his legs are slimmer and the upper body more developed than before Adam. Now if he could get Adam doing more upper body....maybe that swimsuit pic will show up some day.

Now if he could get Adam doing more upper body....maybe that swimsuit pic will show up some day. With shape up check in - I have not changed at all this week - I know I spent way to much of my "fitness' time sitting at the computer watching streams, videos, tweets, pictures of the WAG tour .. it was so good to be in the (mostly) same time zone. Oh well, now we have 4 days "off" from the mini tour to catch up on missed routines .... M O T I V A T I O N is my motto !

I'm going with yesterday's weight because I forgot this morning. I don't remember from last week. I just know I'm only down 1 from startup. Accck! Ate a lot of salmon this week, in fact I'll add a recipe for tomorrow's post. I think maybe I'll move my laptop to the breakfast bar instead of the desk. Burn a few extra calories by standing up.
