I was happy. Down 2. I can pretty much tell by what I'm eating or not eating. Really got to work on sweating though. Yep, have to up the exercises.
I have to head off to the dentist so I'm not going to do a thursday topic other than keep your gums healthy.

Saturday - Wall Angels
These are for your shoulder blades and helps reverse a hunched posture. Stand with your heels and your back against a wall. Bring your bent arms out to each side as if you were in a hold up. Slide the back of your wrists against the wall up and above your head as if you were making a snow angel. Repeat 20 times.
Enhancements. Sit in your pretend wall chair to work your thighs at the same time and/or add hand weights.

Sunday - Grilled AsparagusAnother reason to love my counter-top grill. First time for this recipe. Loved it and made it again for the next night. Don't be stingy with the spices, asparagus can take a lot I've decided. Fresh Asparagus 3-4 tbls Olive Oil 1/4 tsp Kosher or Sea Salt 1/4 tsp each of garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, paprika 1 tbls balsamic vinegar Mix the oil and spices etc. Marinate the Asparagus spears for 5 minutes while warming up the grill. Grill on medium for 10 minutes, roll over and grill for another 4-5. amazingribs.com/recipes/slaws_salads_and_other_vegetables/grilled_asparagus.html

Tuesday - Single leg Side Crunches
Lie on your side, Lift your leg to the side, now Crunch your knee to your chin
Well that's the really long original title. Think laying on your side is too lazy? Add some ankle weights.
Now if you are like me your hip might make popping noices as you do these, if so turn more toward your stomach to free up the path your muscles and ligaments need to take.

Wednesday - Check in Day
Whew! The weeks are just flying by. Wednesday rolls around faster and faster. I don't know what the morning weigh in will bring. I was down a pound in before the weekend but since then has been a mixed bag. Took a long for me bike ride - real bike this time - today. About half an hour all together with the first half at high speed as we were racing to get to a store before closing. I've done a good job of briskly walking the dogs each day and climbed halfway up a mountain/hill. Whatever, it took 45 minutes to get halfway up and the knees were talking all the way back down.

Missed last weeks check in but I was down a pound and I am down another pound this week. Looking on a daily basis my weight fluctuates up and down in about a 2 pound range but the weekly trend is definitely down so all is good. I can't post much now because we are busy packing. Our rental house is being sold so we had to find a new place and will be moving at the end of the month but the good news is the new place is bigger and closer to work for me so YAY!
