Saturday - Dried Plums
Had to stick my nose in the air and haughtily tell my hubby that no they weren't just for "old folks". That's why they changed the name from prunes ya know. Seriously, he'll eat plums off our tree before they are even ripe but buy some dried ones at the store and all of a sudden they are "weird". Hey they are something my picky eater son will even eat. Now if I could just get him to try raisins again.
Good for ya they are.

Sunday - EggsI have four happy hens scratching around the yard so we have more than enough eggs around the house these days. We keep thinking the older 2 who are about 4 years old will ease up on their production which is why we added some new ones, but nope, they are as prolific as ever. I'm still in the habit (pre-chickens) of substituting other items for eggs like in my banana bread recipe. I have to unlearn that because I've already given two dozen away this year. I have one hen who just hates to have her eggs "stolen". I have to leave an egg in her nest or she will go and find a new place and then of course the other tend to follow. She's convinced them this year to not lay close to the back door so I've been having to traipse over to three different nest areas. But I don't have to color Easter eggs, all four have their own distinctive color. And Chappy, I can barely bear to look at the squatting gif, lol. It's a wives tale. eta, you don't have to change things for me chappy but yes that one is easier on my eyes

Monday - MeetUp.comHere's a way to find friends to do things with. I went to a dance class the other day that was really good. It's a site that is really growing fast and if your city doesn't have a group yet that does things you like you can start your own group and encourage people to join. It doesn't cost anything unless you start a group of your own (first 3 months free). The site takes care of emailing out reminders and it's really easy. www.meetup.com

Tuesday - Last Chance Workout
And last chance to eat responsibly. Oh the woes of Easter. Why are there so many eating holidays?

Well, the last two weeks of crappy diet while moving have finally caught up with me. I'm up 2.4 from last Wednesday.

Hi, everyone, chapf, another friend also suggested acupuncture/pressure. I want to look into that more. jablea, I also like "dried plums." Not much to report here this week. I had a lot of trouble with my nerve pain and only got in 3x of exercise. I have been doing better the last few days and hope I'm getting back on track. I went to the farmer's market on Sunday and got a great bag of salad along with some tomatoes and grapefruit to tide me over until the next farm basket comes tomorrow. Can't wait to see what I get. Today I had a fruit smoothie for breakfast for the first time in a couple of weeks. I have my annual physical tomorrow too. Hope everything is the same as last year and no hassles.

Oh I LOVE these cheerleaders Chapf!
Not so good this week as last week, just losing .2 lbs. At least it's still a loss and not surprised really, with several events involving eating on Easter weekend. Not too much lined up for the next little while so hopefully I can do better this week. I'm pretty close, around 3.5 lbs. away from reaching 1/3 of my goal so would be greeat to make that in the next couple of weeks. Actually had a bit of a walk on the weekend too, and while the ankle ached some afterwards, not much more than usual. Getting some physio on it on Friday. Wishing everyone a strong week coming up! You can do it!
