Happy to say that I am doing a little better this week. Down 1 lb but still haven't managed to get in much exercise. Working on it!!!

Well not as bad as I thought for me today. I am actually down .8 from last Wednesday but up from my lowest this week. Fiercelier - If you are weighing daily remember that your weight can fluctuate as much as 6 to 8 pounds in any 24 period. It is better to look at the overall trend for a period of a month to evaluate whether you are gaining, loosing or have plateaued. It is also important to be sure you are weighing at the same time of day and same clothes if wearing any. I have bounced as much as 3 1/2 to 4 pounds up then down in two days time. Thanks for your encouragement Rihannsu! I don't weigh myself daily, would be too discouraging I'm sure, but did weigh myself extra that one time as I was going to a 2-day meeting where things were less under my control, so wanted to see how I was doing before I went. Anyway, I survived last week's weigh-in with the lousy results and stayed on track and have lost 2.4 lbs. this week! Still a bit short of 1/3 of my goal, it's taking forever to get there it seems, but definitely more encouraging than last week! Out for a pot-luck lunch today, so will make dinner time a light meal to make up for it. Hope everyone else is hanging in there too!

Hi everyone! Maybe I need a "goal" or a "carrot" or a something to get me motivated. An Adam Lambert concert ticket somewhere close to Western Canada would be a great incentive for the remaining 4 pound loss! I am not gaining, but not losing. I keep saying I need to ramp up the exercising as it is toning that is important...then I do nothing but brisk walks. So I need to set a goal of working out with cardio interspered with with weights 4 times by next Wednesday. I am writing it down here...so now I have to follow through.... right????!!!!

I wrote a note to fiercelier and stadust and it would not post ...so here goes again.
stadust...I hear you..I get it! I almost avoid the tough exercising by sitting here stanning Adam...well this week he is gong to be low key so it is a great time to amp up and work out! Good luck on your end!
fiercelier...2 plus pounds in a week is pretty darn awesome to me!! GO GIRL GO! Steady wins the race!

I'm up from last Wednesday. Really need to get back into my smoothie and exercise routine. The move has turned my routine upside down and I haven't managed to get back on track yet. Still have some soreness in my knee from my tumble down the stairs and all the walking and standing in Miami didn't help.

lol chappy, yep the exercise room has been empty. Had to cancel my appointment with the personal trainer today. I went half speed on Friday when I thought I was better. I've had a cold, sore throat, coughing fits, stuffy/runny nose, sometimes headaches for over a week now and it's just laying me low. Went to the doc on Saturday but other than cover the symptoms pills and nasal rinses I just have to wait it out. I wish it was helping on the weight loss front, but it's just putting me in the mood for comfort food so I'm going nowhere unless it's in the wrong direction.

Yes, if there is something wrong with you then ACV, as they shorthand it, is the cure. Well I sure am hoping it and some honey in warm water will do something for my sore throat. I've never had one last this long.
Lots of uses for ACV out there, my doctor even told me to take it daily to prevent UTIs. Quite a bit blogs etc out there for weight loss using it also.

I'm starting off the morning by saying I think there is something to this ACV/honey stuff. I haven't had to take an Advil in almost 12 hours. Off to warm up another batch.
