Just got back home from insane activity today. Joined a group on fitbit for Orlando area and one of the guys organized a walk this morning. We started at 4 am and I made 14.27 miles. LL was going for 30. We are going to do this once a month and work our way up to 30 miles. Amazingly I feel pretty good. My shoulders are more sore than my feet because this was the first time I walked with a backpack. Carried 3 bottles of water and various and sundry other items with me. I am probably going to treat myself to a big steak dinner tonight as I've certainly earned it.

Ha! Well the real test will be how I feel tomorrow. Right now I'm fine. Just finished a nice soothing 30 minute soak in the tub and I'm all refreshed. May not be able to get out of bed tomorrow though. You know it always hits you in the next 2 days after something like this. LOL

Well, I am really pleased. Just had a little tightness in my right calf this morning but a little walk with the dog loosened that right up. A year ago a 2 mile walk just about did me in so to walk 14+ miles with very little difficulty and carrying a pack is miraculous to me.

Wednesday - Check in Day
How we all doing?
rihannsu, 14 miles wowza. Glad you found a group to do things with. Anyone else looking for activity groups check out meetup.com it's a really easy site to join and do things.
I'm still plugging along. Doc last week said it might take 6-8 months before my shoulder stops giving me pain. oops, that reminds me, I have to take my Norco. I don't hurt sitting up but laying down in bed usually doesn't start the night out good and I've get to sleep in the camp trailer this weekend, oh goody.
I'm not losing, but then I'm not gaining either. Once this weekend is over I'll get back to food tracking.

No change this week from last Wednesday. I've averaged about .35lbs per week loss for the month of July.

Wow, Rihannsu, that is some walking! Good for you, and especially that you still felt good the next morning!
I'm up .4 lbs this week. Maybe I'm getting into a pattern of more ups with the downs, this has happened a few times now. I wasn't particularly good this past week, not really bad though, so not totally surprised, although I'd hoped to at least stay the same. I did get in several walks, but I'm sticking to my 3.9 kms until the fall when I'll start building it up a bit. I chickened out on taking my I-pod on my walk to see if that triggered another bout of vertigo, as I'm still feeling "off" from the last one. Will talk to the doctor when I see him later today if that could have an impact or not.
Hope everyone has a good week coming up!
