Just watched this again and I have a huge smile on my face! Gah!! He was so great and was so happy this night! His "bumping" with the dancers at 2:12 is too cute!! DIVAS was definitely one of my Adam highlights for 2012! On a more serious note..on page one today when I saw Adam perform BTIKM for the first time on Leno. That was my highlight for 2012. He was introing his 'baby', Trespassing. I still love BTIKM and its vid. It brought tears to my eyes thinking that this was the launch. No matter what happened after, this was the beginning of Era 2 for me. Awwww, that is sweet, viv! His vocal that night was unbelievable! And remember his trembling hand? BB was nervous! His vocal on that song is beautiful! He is really second to none in Pop vocals. These are the Pop Vocal Grammy nominees. 3 of these are ridiculous choices! Notice they are all female. Best Pop Solo Performance » Adele - "Set Fire to the Rain (Live)" » Kelly Clarkson - "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" » Carly Rae Jepsen - "Call Me Maybe" » Katy Perry - "Wide Awake" » Rihanna - "Where Have You Been"

I have not seen Le Mis so I don't know, but I know exactly what Adam means casting actors for musicals who just are not up to par. I had the exact same thought of Pierce Brosnan in Mama Mia. I actually felt sorry for him :( My thoughts were why could they get someone who can actually sing. I don't get why they say Adam hated it, he never said he hated it. I think Adam was quite tactful in his tweets. Adam is entitled to his opinion and why not give an opinion, he is afterall a trained theater actor and an accomplished singer. He will get lots a press/people slamming him for his opinion, but on the other hand maybe it will bring out some other experts to offer their opinon as well. I love a good debate I'm sure there's a lot a the talented musical theatre actors/singers who are not even considered for these roles, that will support him

Brian and the band are really enjoying this work & vacation ;D. It's cute how they're on the beach jet skiing and Adam's working and doing his interview and press conference. So glad they're able to do it and I'm so glad that this time around Adam can enjoy Bali with Sauli

I didn't realize that Hugh Jackman is in the movie, IMO he can sings since he's a broadway actor as well. Maybe in Adam's POV, Hugh's not good enough for Opera :-/ or maybe Adam forgot that there's Hugh Jackman in the movie.. ;D A lot of people have said Hugh's singing is "off." Ahh.. if a lot of people (not trained ears) can hear it, then it must've been obvious to Adam's ear.

His vocals were boundless. I sat and thought...I love this man. He sings with his heart.

Hugh Jackman isn't a singer per se, even though he's appeared on Broadway. I think that is Adam's point though. There are PLENTY of actors who are both brilliant actors AND can also sing at the level this particular musical requires.
