A nice interview! I'm trying so hard to hear his words. I wish I knew the translation of the question he gave this answer to: "I think when I first started everything, I thought a lot about all of that and then, one of the things that I've decided for myself is that I just want to be who I am; if it works, it works, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. I think that if I overthink my image too much, then it's not authentic. " And from the beginning: "It's been an interesting experience trying to convince people." [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG]
Ok I've never done this before so bare with me, lol. I found a translating program (because we all know how off Google translate can be), and here's what the interview questions said. Questions1. What is the most difficult for him to achieve his dreams? 2. Among the songs he had composed songs are most meaningful to you? 3. What have you gained from the entertainment industry and what have you lost? 4. Has he he planned to tour yet? 5. What did you do to keep your images in public? 6. Do you know anything about this program Vietnam idol? Ok so that's it. I was going to put Adam's answers but I thought it would be a waste of time since you can her them on the video, and I'm kinda lazy, lol. I hope this helps.
wow, what program did you use? It did a very good job. They're the questions. On the first question (re the difficulty), Adam said that it is his music style. He is not normal. His music is not very popular in the US. I just felt sad when I heard him saying that. I love Trespassing . I can't understand why others don't. Maybe I'm not normal, either. On the 2nd question, the song he wrote that he finds meaningful to him are Outlaws of Love and Broken English. 3rd response: gain = fans, money. Lost = privacy ETA: oops, I should have posted the video again

On the first question (re the difficulty), Adam said that it is his music style. He is not normal. His music is not very popular in the US. It's interesting...( something I couldn't hear... Can someone try.. I really want to know what his last sentence is) I just felt sad when I heard him saying that. I love Trespassing . I can't understand why others don't. Maybe I'm not normal, either. On the 2nd question, the song he wrote that he finds meaningful to him are Outlaws of Love and Broken English. 3rd response: gain = fans, money. Lost = privacy As fashionable and edgy as he looks, I always feel he has the spirit of an 'old-soul' and a 'true rocker'. It is sad to hear him saying his music is not popular in the US. He is in pop industry. It is not that his music is not good so it is not popular. We all know why his own music is 'not popular'. He is always so honest.

Why do they translate like that? Don't the VN fans want to hear his voice & what he sounds like? I get that they have to do it in Vietnamse but gah, his speaking voice is so beautiful!! I remember during promo or during GN, there was one other country that did that and was SO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!
I don't think he says "my music is not very popular in the US" I am hearing, "I am not your normal guy and it does affect the way my music is received, especially in the United States."

Most Vietnamese people know none or very little English.
