I found a sample video from the London Day 2 DVD that someone posted on YouTube. Be sure to listen with headphones on to get the full effect of the wonderful audio editing job that the Queenzone person did. The main audio used was one he recorded with high quality microphones. Then he added a multi-cam video edit to the audio and enhanced his audio with some of the audio from the videos to get a fuller effect. A description of how the audio and video were done is on the Queenzone site: www.queenzone.com/forums/forum_topic_view.aspx?q=1329156Note that the video on the Queenzone DVD (which is in 480p) looks better than the 480p video on YouTube. This is because the video on the DVD has a higher bitrate, i.e., the pixel data that makes up the image is refreshed more often. YouTube typically cuts the bitrate down to save space. Wondering whether you want London day 2 or 3 DVD? Really, ya gotta have both. Day 2 as described here has great audio and multiple camera views. Plus, hey, you need to have the version of Adam splitting his pants on I Want To Break Free, right? Hilarious! And, I think TSMGO is wonderful on both day 2 and 3, but, day 2 probably wins by a fraction in my mind. So why day 3? The best version of WWTLF with that awesome sustained high note on the end, and the dramatic, operatic pause before the final line. Also, the best version of Somebody to Love, IMO. A fun little thing on that song, AOBTD and WWTLF is the couple of shots of Adam wailing away and Brian in the background lapping it up, grinning from ear to ear like a Cheshire cat. Or, on WWTLF's glory note, closing his eyes and nodding. Yup, they are both amazing concerts. PM dancy if you are interested.

Even lumping the 'older Glamberts' into one group that would prefer the 'slower songs' is a mistake. We are not all the same.... and do not all share the same taste in music. I listen to all genres, from pop to punk, from metal to R&B and everything in between. You're right. I also listen to all genres (except jazz). I must stop thinking [/IMG] I'm just trying to figure out why Adam are not getting the recognition I believe he should get and are there no ways to change the situation [/IMG]
FYE was a much bigger commercial success than TSP, and Adam got a Grammy nom out of it, the TSP project, however, didn't go so well. Call it a sophomore slump, which happens to lots of artists, especially the ones coming off the TV shows; OR blame it on the label, which most of us think rightfully so, BUT, as RCA VP of marketing Nick Pirovano said right before the release of TSP, " We're breaking an artist, We want him to be more than just an 'American Idol,' and that takes time." Let's hope they'll learn and figure a few things out the next time around. #CANT_WIN_IT_ALL# #3_TIMES_A_CHARM#

My favorite version of Sleepwalker. Fierce! Amazing, stratospheric riffs. Great silhouette at the end. Truly a performance worthy of the term "Diva."

Then there is lambobsessed brilliant edit of ACIGC with Adam's intro. "Anybody that tells you 'no,' tell them, "Fuck you!"

My favorite version of Sleepwalker. Fierce! Amazing, stratospheric riffs. Great silhouette at the end. Truly a performance worthy of the term "Diva." Thanks cassie...... I had forgotten how amazing that was. So intense..... I watched it 3 times and I may watch it again! ETA: Any GNT Sleepwalker should never, ever, EVER, be filmed strictly above the waist...... THAT IS ALL!

I nominate this video because:
1. It is the best video we have of Adam doing legitimate musical theater singing/performing.
2. BB clearly demonstrates superb technique and fine acting.
3. BB hits multiple tenor high Cs, full-voiced, sustained, with vibrato and wonderful tone. At one point he even hits the Eb a step and a half above that. Now, we say, "That's nothing for Adam," and I agree, for those of us who have seen his pop/rock performances. But, in classical terms, the tenor high C is considered a benchmark or gold standard for a world class tenor soloist. He nails them effortlessly. In the context of a more "classical" style of singing.
4. This is the answer to the recent spate of articles and naysayer comments asking "Who the hell is Adam Lambert and how dare he say those things about the singing in Les Mis? What the hell does he know?"
