A question for whenever anyone wakes up! If in fact the Manilla concert information was true for the first arena, and we have no reason to believe it wasn't, would it not be a breach of contract to move the concert to the smaller arena? Also would not Adam's "cut" be tied to the larger arena? Should we be surprised if this concert is cancelled? So I am confused. How large was the first venue and how large is this one? Good reason to be confused. Look at the date on the article this tweet goes to.... Wednesday, November 28, 2012.But the concert is listed on this ticket site -- so looks real: smtickets.com/marketing/view/1070Oh so they moved the venue again. This is a more intimate venue. www.sm-northedsa.com/skydome/about-skydomeAnd tickets are out. Adam LambertMar 01, 2013 08:00pm ADAM LAMBERT LIVE IN MANILA 2013 MARCH 1,2013 Friday 8:00 PM SM CITY NORTH SKY DOME When Adam Lambert appeared on the eighth season of American Idol, people couldn’t stop talking about the shape-shifting, 6’1” singer with the glam-rock sartorial flair, razor-sharp sense of humor, and jaw-dropping, powerhouse voice. smtickets.com/marketing/view/1070There have been 3 venues announced for this.... Mall of America Arena - 16,000 seats NEVER FINALPromoter: Diego Pineda of Dayly Entertainment Smart Araneta Coliseum - 16,500 seats NEVER FINALPromoter: Eric Ngo of Scalatech Events Now Sky Dome of SM City North Edsa - 1,500 seats Tickets on sale

If it was never final why not have the venue as TBD or TBA instead of the venue/capacity listed as confirmed? IMO it makes no sense that Adam would be booked to play in a 1500 seat venue in the Phillipines considering his popularity (and AI in general) there.

Yeh, something doesn't sound right in Manila....do you think it has something to do with the other pop act coming into town the following night? LIke maybe fan affordibility or would that be something that promoters wouldn't even consider. Has Adam played in Manila before? If he did, what kind of audience numbers did he have?
I like the idea of him collaborating with the guy who helped on Fever and with Pink. That would be so cool!

Adam Lambert @adamlambert My makeup is my armor. YAY!!! THIS IS WORTH AT LEAST SEVERAL PAGES OF PONDERING!!! Yeah, I am really pondering this one. -Why did Adam tweet this? -What does it mean? Is there an OH NOES!!! to be gleaned from this tweet? I hope not! Guess you would have to see Adam's tweet feed, and what tweets he got to understand why he felt the need to put up this defense. Was there an article out dissing that Adam wears make-up? Was Adam's make-up dissed? Or, is it something much worse? Hope not! OK, rambling now.......

And what's going on witth the Manila promoter? Sounds like a mess! you can say that again!! It is a mess! I do not think it is the fault of the promoter. SM MOA arena management asked that Adam's concert move to other venue because K-Pop needs that date to setup their stage for their concert the following day. It is unfair because I think Adam's concert was first to contract MOA. Since MOA only wants a percentage of the receipts... this would be a very good deal for the promoter. As for Araneta coliseum, it might be that the management was asking too much, etc for use of the venue which perhaps the promoter cannot afford given the limited time (just speculating here). At any rate, I am quite angry .... to the point I wish ill to the MOA management.

Yes, Adam already came to manila in Oct. 2010 Glamnation Tour, attendance was approximately 17,500 - think it was the biggest crowd during that era. So you can imagine how disappointing this is to some fans. But show must go on and support Adam we must. Wish for a collaboration with Pink as well!

From Brian's LettersHello Brian
I'm Melissa, I'm 17, I'm french. I wish you a good year 2013, that this year be rich in queen music. I would like to know if you think come to make concerts in france this year because I would like well to see you in concert, but I don't know if that fact left your projects for this year. I know that you and roger have to give concerts with Adam Lambert in 2012.
PS: It's really good the fight which you make in england for to save and to stop killing the badgers and the foxes. That is seen that you love the animals. Sorry for my english, I hope that you understand.
Cheers Melissa

Brian replied:

Bri Not a definitive but knowing Brian as I do, the way he words that is QUITE positive. So keeping fingers crossed.

So to me this sounds quite disappointing. But I trust in your knowledge of what Brian is saying between the lines and still keep my fingers crossed!
