I was (and am) hoping so much for more Queenbert concerts this year! So to me this sounds quite disappointing. But I trust in your knowledge of what Brian is saying between the lines and still keep my fingers crossed!  Well following Brian for quite awhile now I've learned to translate him a bit so to speak. How I translate the above is: "Well, we'd like to tour again with Adam and have had some preliminary discussions about it. We haven't nailed down a good timeframe with Adam working on his own things, myself working on an album with Kerry, Roger working on his solo project, and us working on Live At The Rainbow, the Freddie film and the WWRY Tours it's been tough to find the perfect time. However we are working hard to determine where and when such a tour should happen and if we can find a way to make it work we will." Basically he enjoyed the tour and wants to do it again but he won't come out and say anything definitive until the press release. |

Just looking over Adam's recent tweets. I really like Reece Mastin. Had never heard of him but watched a YouTube that was fantastic! High energy, good vocals, catchy song. Wonder if he knows him, or just heard his music...

I'm going to check if there is a history of any fan group becoming promoters. What an intriguing idea. Thanks for bringing it up, slapdashI think that's what people in K Pop do. I know a friend here in Spain who's acting as a promoter to bring a group over here. |

I don't know why the Manila changes would have people here depressed, unless you are in Manila and this lowers your chances of getting a ticket. By a lot!!
The venue wasn't changed because tickets weren't selling! Tickets weren't even for sale yet.
It seems it is a total screw up on the part of the Phillipine's promoters. DMG and Adam always had the option to not accept this gig, if they thought it wasn't worth the $$! They are not going to accept something that is not worth it.

:D I just want to caution you this is far from a definite thing...it might not happen. I just think Brian wants to and that some discussions have taken place. If nothing was on the cards and they weren't discussing it I feel he would be more definitive like: "Nothing planned for 2013, sorry to say!" THe "yet" and the "that may change" makes me think something has been going on. It may well be that they wanted to tour and maybe had plans but they were dashed by something so they are still trying to figure out what's going on. Brian likes to tease a bit with statements like "that may change..." All 3 have a lot on their plates and in AL's case decisions to make. Brian is working with Kerry Ellis on a new album and on the Freddie film as well as the We Will Rock You tour which he revealed will have a US leg and a stay in NYC  YAY!. He'll probably do another small tour with Kerry at some point. He is also working on Queen archive product, like FINALLY Queen Live At The Rainbow! All that with his animal activism, astronomy, and diabeliries work..wow. Roger is working on a new solo album, and also in discussions on a solo compilation and/or box set. Furthermore he's still involved in the Queen Extravaganza tour and all the same Queen Archive/Freddie Film/WWRY Tour stuff. Then there's Adam who I honestly think is the lynchpin. I think if Adam wants to tour that Queen would be up for it and find the time most likely. What does Adam want? What does his record label want? I think Adam would like to tour with Queen again but I think he's afraid of being typecast in a way and losing himself. He has not had as successful a run with Trespassing as he would have wanted. I think he still wants to tour Trespassing but the longer it goes without a real tour the less likely that's going to be (imo). So Adam will have a choice to make. Does he rush back into the studio and try again? Or does he tour more with Queen and hope some more exposure will help his next album? That's where you guys come in. I can translate Brian/Roger and understand their game plan so to speak. And I know Queen's Record Label aren't nearly as much of a factor with them. I have no idea about Adam and his record label. |

Thank you Talon we love your contribution. So far after the Asia Tour looks like Adam does not have anything even a short tour of major cities would be nice with Queen and give Adam more funds.
