This review mirrors EXACTLY the way I felt about the film. In every respect. No sense at all given his popularity there. I feel so sorry for any fans that can't get tickets but this also affects Adam's pocket in a big way I expect. From $$$$$ to $$? |

Jessica Sanchez/Colton Dixon at the Ataneta C. in February...so no problem for that promoter. Cliff Richards is on Feb 28...Is March 1st to close to that date for set-up??
(Not much flexibility for time for travel and set-up if on March 1st. Probably have travel arrangements booked etc.)
So the question is where are the bigger promoters who can get this thing organized? I have to believe Adam can pull in equal to JS even if she is of that nationality. Such a dissapointment to drop a minimum of 10,000+ paying people.
EDIT: whoops .... saying same as JazzRocks loss of mega $$$$...Imagine how Adam feels when he is finding this out!
Playing a gig for expenses. (maybe a bit melodramatic but sheesh!)

Yes, EVERYONE gets nasty comments online. It's reassuring to me to remember how I feel when I read insults about celebrities in whom I have no emotional investment. It wouldn't occur to me to think that the celebrity's career is going to be impacted in any way by some anonymous person sitting at their computer somewhere in the world. Knowing that their words are dust in the wind helps me to not take it so seriously when the barbs are directed at Adam.This has come up quite a bit lately because of Adam's press on the Les Miz thing and I wanted to add to this. Online culture is very nasty and the comments Adam gets are definitely the NORM, not exceptional. I mostly quit looking at Internet comments a while back. I'll never forget the two articles that prompted me to do so. They weren't even about celebrities. One was about a very elderly couple who had no children and had decided to give all their money to charity. The comments mocked the physical plainness of the couple. The other, soon after, was about a flash flood that killed a number of campers in a state park in Arkansas. The comments mocked the dead for their regional origin. After that I realized that Internet comments are just an ugly cesspool of hate, not reflective of the readership as a whole let alone of the population. Whenever I give in to temptation and look, I'm reminded all over again. |

How does this man impart such joy, warm feelings, and humor by just posting a handful of pictures? I love how he quietly posts the picture of him and Katri when she questioned him about kissing Adam, not to mention how he is not afraid to joke about the night he and Adam spent in the lock up! Thanks girls (and Sauli, who I think is the spy here) for keeping us connected! |
