Actually Gaga is going in the rock direction...so maybe this is the trend now. Adam's got the voice and the whole package to rock it. A Queen collab would be off the wall. Whole Lotta Love to the Universe Gaga is going in the rock direction?!  Well, I'm a very bad casual fan. I didn't know that. lol |

I don't think its going to be rock or Queen, it´s going to be so far out of anyones expectation, even die hard Glamberts will struggle. IMO With Adam as much as you guess, as far out as you go, he exceeds expectations every time! Can't wait, but still hoping for a few more US tours before he hangs up his hat on Trespassing. Come on Adam let me give you some more money  whoo hoo I reduced the size all by myself! |

Of course, we are all going to try to figure out the direction of album #3, using such reliable clues as winky faces, random tweets, etc, ( Duh!) and the funny thing is we'll probably be right. And then he'll hear a song on Burning Man, or a shop assistant will whistle a tune to him while he's choosing kale and he'll have an epiphany, take a total U turn, and make us look totally ... unserious. Tsk-tsk, Adam :4OMG:

Hope he keeps some of the trespassing songs alive in Rock tours.
Runnin does sound a little bit Rock, right ;D
Just want to hear him sing one time live/youtube Nirvana in a Concert.
Don't want to loose Underneath and OOL (and Shady and Kickin in eventough Shady is Funky and Kickin in pure dancepop, just love his animation in these sings, well all other songs too, of course 8-) :twist: )

Ah! Clay Aiken! I totally forgot about there was once an Aiken in the Idol family! Sorry, I didn't even know about the show till Underwood's season, but I've now somewhat caught up, I think.
Yes, Clay was the first to leave 19R and cut all ties to the Machine, and his legal battle winning over the Machine has been his singular most important contribution.
Re Aiken hadn't had much of a career after leaving the Machine, it had very little to do with the contracts, labels & managements but mostly to do with his music style, his appeal, his audience demo and his marketability. 
# but ... but ... but ... Clay paved my way to Adam ... be nice, I still love that man!
Oh, that was not meant to be an insult at Clay, more of a poke at myself having incomplete & limited knowledge when it comes to AI, 'cuz I only really watched Adam's season and learned about everything after I joined Atop.
I watched a couple of youtube of Clay's performance way back, and I think he's got a good broadway voice and talented in his own way. But honestly, IMO, he got very lucky coming on the scene before the new digital era arrived, and he was/would still be very difficult to fit into the music scene. Although not my cupa, I totally respect your love & passion. |
