New Sauli Instagram at new digs, Adam in background. S is drinking Cristal champagne which runs about $350 US per bottle looks like a celebration? No, it's not. It means if his contracct with 19R ended in Jan., then his contract with RCA would have also ended. DMG would have to renegotiate a new contract. They could go with RCA again or choose a different label. It would not surprise me at all to see another announcement the beginning of next week. 
geezelouise, 19R makes no decisions about singles released. They just sit back & collect a large % of the profits. So would "another announcement" be just like David Cook and Archuleta and all the others being dropped from RCA? I don't think they were picked back up by anyone. It was like the beginning of the end for most of them. :( That is why this announcement strikes fear into my heart. I've seen it happen to too many other Idol alumni. :-/ The difference being that the others were dropped from the major label but remained with 19R, which is the label branch of the American idol contract. Many idols who have officially been dropped by their label remain signed to 19R. |

Could it have been 19 that was 'afraid' to release Adam's music as singles this era? Thus being "stuck in the middle".
As mys*&@^#r pointed out, the only thing that 19R does, or used to, is collecting their % of profits, RCA is the one that gets to make all the decisions when it comes to the actual business related to Adam's music.
19 is now no longer "stuck in the middle" between Adam's plans and his label & his management, that's how I interpreted it. So, this means more $$$$$$$$$$ for Adam!  |

All the artists on 19R roster are currently signed. I still think it's a good thing for Adam. Gives him more negotiating power and doesn't have a middleman taking a huge cut. |

Ooooh, that pic of Sauli drinking that expensive champagne has to be in the new apartment.
I don't think I will post a lot today. I had the worst headache yesterday night, I've slept like crap, and I still have a little remaining pain which I don't want to worsen because of my inability to stop looking at the computer screen. :-/
