But, is a cut with 19R a first step? Should we expect to hear in the next couple weeks that he has parted with RCA? That's what I am nervous about. Even Kelly Clarkson is still with 19R.
As long as he is still gonna come out of this with a major label deal (any major) I'm good. But this feels "significant" to me somehow.
eta---The more I think about this, the more I think this might indicate a label change.

I just passed by SM skydome. No posters of Adam Lambert on the side wall of the skydome. So not much promo... nor news. SM is sellng tickets. Capacity indeed is 1500 ... standing room only ... . I doubt I can last standing... as my knees are weak. Nevertheless I bought a ticket. Only few tickets sold so far.
It will be my first time to see Adam.

I crept over at MJ's and seems like the earlier season contracts were much longer and most totally think Kelly will get out of 19 entanglements when she renegotiates. I doubt champagne was housewarming. There would be more people and they likely wouldn't have gone out first. I'd like to think they are celebrating new freedom and next steps. ;D |

Thanks Guys- Sorry for my negativity. From now on, I will keep my worries to myself and just enjoy the ride. 8-) I didn't see negativity. I saw concern and a need to understand what is going on and what it means. That's not negative. Don't keep it to yourself because others of us have the same concerns. |

IMO,The mess with the release of Trespassing and the follow up.. is likely giving Adam some thoughts on
how and where he proceeds. Again,just to be safe, IMHO Trespassing is a great album that didn't get the proper
launching from the start.
Musings on new living digs...Last place Adam rented , I believe alone and Sauli moved in.. Probably
this time Sauli and Adam chose this new home together ,as a couple.. YAY
BTW these are my thoughts... not facts

Something is definitely going on; and, as always, the news seems to trickle out in pieces. Totally missed the Cristal, lol. Hope they are celebrating  Adam has a lot of changes going on in his life right now. |

No, it's not. It means if his contracct with 19R ended in Jan., then his contract with RCA would have also ended. DMG would have to renegotiate a new contract. They could go with RCA again or choose a different label. It would not surprise me at all to see another announcement the beginning of next week.
geezelouise, 19R makes no decisions about singles released. They just sit back & collect a large % of the profits. So would "another announcement" be just like David Cook and Archuleta and all the others being dropped from RCA? I don't think they were picked back up by anyone. It was like the beginning of the end for most of them. :( That is why this announcement strikes fear into my heart. I've seen it happen to too many other Idol alumni. :-/ If Adam's contract with 19R expired in January, DMG has realized this situation since they signed Adam as their client in 2011. I believe DMG has working on this deal with 19R/RCA since mid of 2012. So if DMG has seen that the discussion with RCA doesn't go well and they don't want to continue working with Adam, I'm pretty sure DMG also has gone to find another labels that want to work and fully support Adam (remember their work for Katy Perry?). So IF we will get news next week, it will be Adam Lambert has signed with a new label company  ;D WHICH will not surprise me. I remembered on the Napa concert, a VP of Capitol music was in Adam's concert and he twitted and complimented Adam's performance. |
