[/IMG]
They are part of the Idol machine. They exist to get $$ from their Idols once the show ends. No other reason! :( They are like a noose around the contestants and labels necks! No matter what label Adam is now with, 19R being gone is nothing but a good thing!! BTW, did you all see the shot glass with the Menorah on it in that Instgram pic?!!

For me personally the biggest positive is Adam being signed with DMG for management. After reading how they helped Katy Perry I am not worried about Adam. Even if RCA is stupid enough to let him go DMG has shown that they are committed to helping the artist achieve their vision. KP was with Columbia (also Sony) and saw her success after they let her go and DMG got her signed with Capital. Maybe RCA/Sony will give Adam more control rather than take a chance on losing him to another label. I still remember that when U2 were inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame and the museum gathered items for a huge U2 exhibit there was a rejection letter from Columbia saying that they didn't feel U2 had a future. Clive Davis called up the museum wanting to know what asshole was stupid enough to have rejected them. Adam has both incredible talent and a clear vision of himself as an artist and I think the respect he has garnered within the industry makes it unlikely that RCA will let him slip through their fingers but if they do I have no doubt that he will land on his feet.

BrianMayCom @brianmaycom@adamlambert and #19Recordings Part Ways shar.es/4wDW1 via @thr Look at one of the comments in that article: "If he dumped 19R he should dump RCA too. They are not a good label and are struggling. Capital Records scouted him out at his Napa Valley concert."Seems more people is thinking about Adam switching labels. ETA: What's that about him being scouted out, though? Did someone from Capital Records say so or what?

Bring over some tweets I saw last night, as I thought they sound positive: @_izla_zandzz: @devenlane 19 Recordings is Idol's management stable. RCS still his label! Now it's DMG all the way!
@blueskyviews: @devenlane 19R is the label side of idol. 19E is the show while 19M is the management. he basically cut all ties with idol companies
@noangelpf: "As for his third album, conversations with the label about direction have already begun, says DMG."
Some tweets today: mmadamimadamm @mmadamimadamm islandgirljams OK, so no more AI ties. Great!. DMG has his back with RCA. Shosh does PR. Who is at DMG that takes care of Adam? Do we know? Lilybop @--- Lilybop @--- lilybop2010 @mmadamimadamm islandgirljams I read CAA is handling booking some or more of his tour dates. mmadamimadamm mmadamimadamm @mmadamimadamm lilybop2010 islandgirljams So if CAA handles the bookings, WTF does DMG do? Watch Adam's back with RCA? alidol alidol @glam_alidol @mmadamimadamm lilybop2010 islandgirljams as I know, DMG is handling the tour now ,not CAA
alidol @glam_alidol as I konw ( Just Chinese agents),if some agents want to hold an Adam concert or invite him to some TV show ,they must contact DMG first
Lilybop @--- lilybop2010 @glam_alidol @mmadamimadamm islandgirljams This says CAA is handling his bookings, at least in Manila: www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=11894832&l=c46c34ee9b&id=252558399090 …
alidol @glam_alidol lilybop2010 I don't know this, but Chinese agent contacts DMG directly and even Chinese agents heard there were problems about Manila con
Lilybop @--- lilybop2010 @glam_alidol They're both powerful companies, so Adam is in good hands, either way, w/ regard to bookings. He'll earn a lot this year.
Lilybop @--- lilybop2010 @glam_alidol Adam is on CAA's touring roster if this is current www.caatouring.com/public/artistroster.aspx?role= …
alidol @glam_alidol lilybop2010 i saw this before ,but as i said, Chinese concert was handled by DMG directly. the agent signed contract with them

Yes, I want to see more of this. Adam making news. Oh I know it's not about his voice but just as his twitter convo last night shows, Adam's other qualities are just as big as his singing ability. He/We have always said his path will have to be different. First it was reality tv vs youtube viral and we thought ok, that's the different part. Nope, I think the whole journey may be different and building the ground swell of recognition as a celebrity with an opinion may be the vehicle.

I am usually a worrywart, but I am not at all worried that Adam will have a major label for album 3. He is just to talented and respected in the industry not to be signed. I thinking a change would be good because he gave RCA a wonderful album, and they handled it very badly IMO. I have been impressed with what Interscope was able to do for the last two Idol winners, and think that would be a good change for Adam. Since I know nothing about these things, there might be other labels that would be an even better match that I have never heard of.

I don't know specifically about this year, but in the past lots of radio and label people attend this Napa concert. Nothing really unusual about industry people being in attendance at this thing.
