I clicked on this link about 5-6 times, but never saw the Adam Lambert Hour come up... other stuff, but not Adam. Is there some place I should be clicking once the link opens? seoulmate, I always double check my links, and it works for me. (I'm using Internet Explorer). Because I hadn't seen a link to the soundcloud on twitter, I looked in my file for an old soundcloud posted by Gale and found the new one. If you want to give that link a try, it's soundcloud.com/#galechester/q-muiic-be1st-adam-lambert-qAs mentioned, it's an old link, but look to the right to where it says "Related", and it's the second one down. |

On a little curious glance over onto AO I came across another little gem that has not yet made it here as far as I recall. Cute South Korean video bringing K-Pop and Adam Lambert together. First half compares fashion and looks and it is quite impressive what similarities they have dug up and the second half lists quotes from K-Pop artists about Adam. They are some really interesting slides in the second half and it is worth stopping the video occasionally to be able to read them all. In the beginning of the video they mention specifically that nobody is saying that anyone is copying anyone else's style, just that there are similar influences and the examples they show both scenarios, some where Adam happen to be first and some where the K-Pop artist was first. So this is all done with respect for all artists involved. Very nice video. ETA: Hang one, video still does not want to show up. Not to mention Leonard Cohen who in his 70s (he's now 78) began touring again in order to replenish his retirement account after his manager/former lover wiped him out. Oh that just makes me feel ill. Brian May and Roger may tour occasionally because they WANT to. But for a 78-year old man to financially HAVE to deal with the grind of touring is horrible. As for Shakira, does she even possess $100 mil to get sued over?? I mean, the girl has done well, but that sum is 30-years-in-the-business-in-different-economic-times money. Paul McCartney, yes. Madonna, probably. But I don't see Shakira with that amount of cash lying around, let alone being able to afford to lose even a signficant portion of that demanded sum to an ex. Shakira may not be that big in the USA, but she has sold 70 million records worldwide over 9 studio albums plus 5 live/concert albums. She has been filling arenas around the world for at least 3 tours and has a fragrance promotion amoung other things. So, yes, I would guess that she is easily worth $200 million and the exe is asking for half of that as a combination manager & common law husband. I love Shakira, although not as much as Adam. She & Usher have made this season's The Voice actually watchable. |

And The Voice rejects are better than most of the Idol 12 finalists.
