I saw this link on twitter tonight, so I looked to see if it had been posted and I can't find it, although I think it might have been discussed. Looking again at Adam's tweet, he only posted their website, not a song.

... and Adam on the Voice has been such a great addition too Melissa McCarthy returned for her second stint as host of "Saturday Night Live" and took on NBC's "The Voice." She played a trailer hitch-detacher and country singer with high hopes, and delivered a none-too-stirring rendition of "Don't Mess With My Toot Toot." That didn't stop judges Shakira, Adam Lambert and Usher from trying to land her on their teams, in their own unique styles. za.omg.yahoo.com/news/snl-melissa-mccarthy-tries-voice-video-141730219.html

Agree with you on the boredom that is idol. Everyone is waiting until this intentionally chosen group of incapable guys gets eliminated and as you already have pointed out, they may have created their own headache by putting Lazaro on that show, who for whatever reason gets votes, even though he is an embarrassment to everyone who had anything to do with his casting. The sad part is, while the girls can sing better, there is still nothing exiting about it to look forward to. I like Candice the best, but tbh, I am not looking forward to recordings from her any more than from any other (same problem that Xfactor had with their solo artists).
The Voice is always good during the 'chair' rounds and therefore tends to have a strong opening. But the sing-offs do not keep that momentum going and so people lose interest and in the end, the Voice has never produced a star and probably won't for a while. Not enough public investment to trigger any more engagement than the actual watching of the show.
For that reason, I am quite sad to see idol go so down the hill. And contrary to my and many other peoples opinion this ended up not being a Nicki Minaj issue. Its again just like before, boring or wrong casting, terribly old songs and themes, too many bland ballads and, last but not least, the predictable editing.
I am also very glad that Adam cannot be blamed for the ratings disaster they have at their hands. But for the music biz as a whole, it is a loss. And one that The Voice does not make up for. YMMV.

Big brother is constantly watching us on our computers. Because of the title of today's thread, on my email page an ad was displayed that said "Glasses make your vision worse." Note, I never typed a reply about the theme of Adam wearing glasses, but it didn't matter. Just visiting a page talking about glasses was enough to cause the ad to appear on a totally unrelated page. CREEEEEPY! And Google's next big release is GOOGLE GLASS!! (AKA Google Glasses) -- be afraid, be very afraid.

However, with the problem of the other Adam, he may have to use ADAM LAMBERT instead.

I'm up for the challenge !!! but is it supposed to be funny/wacky ? or realistic ? It needs to have vote getting appeal to win the big prize. I will post details in the morning about that prize and extend the deadline a bit.

According to Celebrity Net Worth Shakira has a net worth of $200 million. I don't know if this site has any validity, but it is amazing how lucrative the entertainment industry can be.

Wow. I've learned something new. Didn't know that about her. [wry grin] Also nice to learn the degree of sucess someone can have without a ton of U.S. radio. Good to know. IMO Shirkira and Usher are the best this on reality TV vocal competitions. And The Voice rejects are better than most of the Idol 12 finalists. Sorry but The Voice is entertaining and Idol is a talent desert with Ryan dialing-it-in being the best thing on the show. #noLongerWatchIdolThisYear #boring Yes, I love the tone that Shakira & Usher bring to The Voice. The current 4 The Voice judges can tease each other and have a friendly competition to gain singers on their team without anyone getting nasty or uppity about it. I have every one of Shakira's concert videos and I LOVE watching her perform. Of course it helps that she is a belly dancer & so am I, so I love her dancing. But she also has real stage presence like Adam. I also like Beyonce's concert videos as she can really dance & sing. I bought a Pink concert video on a whim, even though I didn't have any of her albums, and also really, really liked it as she is also a joy to watch perform. I also bought Ga Ga's concert video and just could not get into it.
