The thelambertluvva post about percentage of fake or empty Twitter followers peaked my curiosity because I also have been suspicious of Jordin's large following given her concert draws. What I hope one of the knowledgeable people on this board can tell me is how these bogus accounts are created, where do they come from? People create and sell Twitter accounts. People bundle and sell Twitter accounts. buytwitteraccounts.org/ There are spambots that Tweet from spammer accounts. There are Twitter accounts are created by automated computer code -- bots -- that specialize in retweeting. Basically, Twitter is full of fake accounts. On Jordan's Twitter Followers, a large number of these are from when she toured with the Jonas Brothers and their fans followed her. She has been active on Twitter a long time and many of her Twitter follower accounts are old and long abandoned. But she Tweets a lot and has a large Twitter fanbase...http://twittercounter.com/JordinSparks Here is a good analysis of some top celebs on Twitter: gizmodo.com/5994621/which-celebrities-have-the-most-fake-twitter-followers

From what I remember of Ruben Studdard, he seems like a nice guy but personality-wise he has all the excitement of soggy bread. Besides, I hate having four judges on the show. It takes ten times as long for all the judges to make their comments as it does for the contestant to sing the song. Adam, Kelly Clarkson, and Kellie Pickler would be a good panel, I think--Adam and Kelly for their musical knowledge and Kellie for the fun factor. Obviously, Adam would add a fun factor too, since he has a great sense of humor. If either Kelly or Kellie didn't want to do it, another possibility is--and hear me out here--Taylor Hicks. He knows tons about music and performers. In his season, when the other kids were saying things like, "I didn't know any of [the mentor's] songs," Taylor was enthusiastically telling his favorite songs of everyone from Barry Manilow to Rod Stewart to Queen. He also gave advice to other Idol contestants that I swear could have been said by Adam--and he even mentions Adam at the end of the article. Taylor Gives Idol AdviceIt could be interesting and revitalizing to the show to have an all-Idol alum panel. But please, let's stick to three judges and make the show more about the contestants. I am a Taylor Hicks fan. Not a stan, but a fan. His recommendations sound just like the things Adam has said about what he did while on the show. Wing it? Nope. "I listened to my headphones and planned out my performances," Hicks says. "I’d do it in the bathroom, in between commercials, at night in front of the mirror when I got home. When everyone was going out for pizza, or seeing what they said in OK! Magazine, I stayed home and practiced in the living room and planned my attack. I tried to live in the song."
Let’s get physical. "Remember that it’s a television show," Hicks says. "It’s visual. It’s a singing competition, yes. The ultimate end game is trying to create a hit record with your voice. But it’s a TV show. You have to balance the visual entertaining with the singing. You have to move, and yes, I think you have to dance. It can be an endearing quality. You’ll never have another moment like this, so let it all hang out."
Collaborate with coaches. "Some of it has to be yourself," Hicks says. "You can’t make Joe Cocker do the moonwalk. But the show has coaches and choreographers, and they can help you use that small, minute amount of creative freedom you have. My choreography coach on ‘American Idol’ was Carrie Ann (Inaba) from ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ (Vocal coach) Debra Byrd was great. They’re professionals, and I always listened to their advice."I guess it's confession time here. I was a Taylor Hicks fan during his season. He was very likable and there was the thing about sticking it to the producers that year. It was so obvious that they didn't want him to win. Never followed him after the show though. Sounds like a smart cookie and would be an asset. My problem with him is that there has to be a black judge. I'm not really crazy about having 4 judges, but I couldn't work it out without Ruben. He is a winner. The only black male winner. So, Adam is a given. I want Kellie P because she's country and hilarious. I want Kelly C because she was the 1st, would lend credibility to the panel, and she did Duets. Fantasia has an awful lot of baggage. I don't think Jordan Sparks or Jennifer Hudson would do it, but I could be wrong.

Have there been any leaks about Adam and the judging panel or is this all pure speculation? I also think Adam needs more exposure in US, and given radios neglect, a recurring role on a major TV show would be super helpful to his career. He is so sweet, smart, funny, talented, handsome and lovable that I have no doubts he would get lots of new fans. He has the important attribute of having chemistry with just about everybody from what I've seen so that would be a huge asset to any panel. I promised myself that I would never angst about Adam's career again after the last Idol Judge speculation, so I will try to have que sera sera attitude if this comes about.
