It's who is pushing radio...politics .maybe her mentor from IDOL.. knows whose arms to twist.. look what happened to the song HOME.Any guesses as to who has some influence??? Her label is Interscope and they have an awesome radio team! When is Adam's contract up? Could he switch to Interscope down the line? |

I looked up RCA and Interscope artists and IMHO RCA really has the best artists www.rcarecords.com/artists..... IMHO Adam should stay where he is .He just needs someone to bang down the Clear channel doors. |

Whatever happened to our NO monopoly laws??? ![]() Apparently radio doesn't count! The great thing though is that Billboard is now doing an end run around radio. We need to stream and watch those videos on Vevo every single day. And when the new music comes out, even more! The quote from Billboard, when they announced their new policies was, "Radio doesn't 'tell' us what people want to hear." LOL! Duh! Ya think?! |

Deregulation run amok played a big role in the fact that radio in owned my a very few. "The Telecommunications Act of 1996 changed the radio broadcasting industry in ways that are still in evidence today. One of the major changes involved radio and television ownership. Limits on how many stations can be owned by one entity were completely lifted. This action encouraged corporations like Clear Channel and Infinity to purchase hundreds of radio stations across the country."
