It seems very likely that Adam will hit 2,000,000 on Twitter tomorrow, and oddly, not one of us picked May 14th! Somebody who picked the 13th or 15th will come closest.

Just an FYI Q3 as per some past pms to you. I was hopeful that the last proboard work would assist with correcting my regular problems...however, no change as yet. I have lost posts, pms and the create post button this morning was not working on my ipad entry. After about 20 touches on my ipad it finally posted.
Sadly the highlight feature to allow for highlighting for a copy/paste, bold...change in font or color etc. ....only works in reply ...not the quote box ....on my desktop.
And the cursor still jumps to the end of the last typed character on the message ....even when wanting to do something as simple as attempting to go back into the text to correct a typo, or add something in. Very frustrating. But I am adjusting.
Edit....yet I do not have any of the other problems members have with refreshing the page/changing pages, or linking into any news areas.

Adam is going to be doing a duet with Angie on Thursday. I expect it will be great. But I want to comment on Angie-gate.

When Angie responded to the Rolling Stone interview question about rumors of her dueting with Adam Lambert or Jessie J. with the comment about Jessie J. and no mention of Adam, Adam fans had three immediate responses:
1. Some thought Adam was not going to be on the Idol finale. This quickly faded and was eliminated completely when calmer fans pointed out that the night before Ryan Seacrest announced that Adam would be doing a surprise duet on the Idol finale.
2. Some fans thought this meant that Adam would be dueting with Candice because only the top two get duets. This quickly faded and was completely eliminated when fans familiar with Idol provided them with past history proving that many more than the top two finishers get duets.
3. And some Adam fans felt Angie had dissed Adam by saying that she wanted to duet with Jessie J. and not mentioning Adam. For a few fans, this has not faded and has morphed into a critique of Angie.
I am certain that Angie is excited to perform on the finale and excited to perform with Adam. But Jessie J. is her favorite pop artist and she may prefer to perform with her favorite. Who wouldn't want to perform with their favorite artist? IMO there is nothing wrong if she prefers to sing with her idol.
In all of this, the happiness about Adam being on the Idol finale, being the first non-winner to return to Idol and perform on the finale, is being lost. Let's not let that happen.

Did we know about this? @lifeball: there will be a livestream of the life ball opening with #adamlambert and many others on www.ustream.tv/lifeballand re question about password: Lifeball @lifeball @tiihe that's just at the moment as the channel is under construction. on may 25 no passwort will be needed to see the livestream! Totally agree. I admit that I'm no longer a fan of the show, but he was also the first contestant to mentor (and the ONLY one so far). So I have to give Idol credit for their treatment of him. With the exception of the JUDGE fiasco of course.  |

I am responding in the thread because some of these issues are affecting multiple members. 1. Nothing changed on the CREATE POST functionality. But it appears that some members are hitting it multiple time and that will just send multiple calls to the server. The effect will be to use up bandwidth for all those extra sends. So if you have a slow connection, it just makes it worse. And the result can be that nothing is posted. 2. The highlight not working on the QUOTE is probably a lack of working memory. Clear out the temporary Internet files. Make sure you are not running a lot of applications at once. Look for other things causing memory issues. If you are using Internet Explorer, and have any memory issues, switch to Firefox or Chrome. Also, it is helpful to open a new browser session every 24 hours to avoid this. 3. The cursor problem may also be a problem with working memory. This could also cause the cursor to vanish. Note: Refresh is partially fixed but being worked on. |

And I want to add that as much as we might wish for Adam to sing all the songs etc I think that AI should be about contestants, their development both in risk-taking maybe not quite getting there and excelling to the best of their abilities. Also in the finale I am interested in how they manage and I think about how they would succeed in the real world too. All other performers are just the icing on the cake attributing to a big show.
Having said that I'm ready to celebrate Adam and his appearance - it is a great opportunity to woo the audience once again on Idol stage which not given to everybody. Bring it on!
