Loving the performance even more today and appreciating his extreme professionalism and amazing voice. I whined last night about the song not being long enough, and I still feel it today. I would have loved for him to have a chance at singing the soaring melody. I can hear it in my mind and it is otherworldly. [sigh] On a stage craft note, did anyone else notice his theater training come into play when he walked to the end of the piano at about :30? He turns in way that I bet most people wouldn't--without putting his back to the audience. I think I would naturally swing around the opposite way. YES!! I noticed it the 2nd time I watched it and it made me smile BIG! I noticed too, the first time I saw it.  And the expression on his faaaaace, that tender expression he often has when he duets!!! It brought tears to my eyes!!! |

I'm surprised I don't see more people talking about it, I'm more excited for this than I was even for BTIKM!! I AM MORE THAN EXCITED! Not only a NEW SONG but also REAL DRESS UP!!! Just thinking how much he'll be in heaven at the Life Ball makes me uber happy! We are just digesting the exquisite sounds of last night! I am sure by the end of today we'll move on! I am also SUPER EXCITED about Adam being in NYC - I am thinking may be on the way back from EU... the same air and stuff... |

So doing Titanium was Angie's idea!!! He loved working with Angie, the collaboration on the song and the harmonies, getting to know Jessie J, he was honored to be asked. He treated Angie like a Queen, which is how he treats everyone. Idol lets Adam run the show however the heck he wants when he's on stage, if he doesn't want to be introduced because that will ruin the middle of the song, and/or the surprise, well then that's the way it goes down. Do you need Ryan to introduce JessieJ, nope there was a reason Adam did half the introductions on his finale night, all thru his Idol tour where he remembered the right name of every town they were in to thank. Idol loves Adam, he has been highlighted every year without fail. He was almost never a contestant, he was a collaborator. He was not just a celebrity duet partner, who clearly by the audience reaction (and did twitter ever ask "who's singing with Angie?) did not need an introduction (and was more special because he didn't), he wasn't there as a "guest" he was there as a member of the troupe which I think makes him much happier than being stuck on the outside as a star. He wants to judge to help other people (same reason he tweets all those random music selections I swear) and he's able to articulate why and how. He didn't have anything to promote, he tried to blend in and focus the attention on the contestants, and yet he crafted a moment, out of the two-hour mayhem, that stood out for both his voice and his personality. |

Regarding the discussion of the end of the dual duets -- this is all I want to say... Plus, I am certain that everyone involved with Angie is very happy she did that duet with Adam because Domino was only memorable as someone getting a chance to sing with her personal Idol and favorite pop star. *** Nice to see the RS writer also disappointed about Adam not getting to talk. They apparently did not want to hear from any of the other stars. *** Trespassing Deluxe is now at #145 on the iTunes Pop Album Chart.  |

Any song that Adam caver is fantastic. I do not think that Adam would sang a song that he did not feel in his heart and soul. That's why his singing is unique and there is no one who can match up to Adam.
