Seems to me Adam's appearance scares people. I've read quite a couple of comments all over the net (not news articles) from people just going about their day. I think Adam is clearly thinking about his appearance and what can go down where. I thought he looked perfect for Idol, his look suited the event. If he had thick eyeliner on like at the Chinese Idol audition, it would have scared people away. But kudos to him, he was still true himself although toned down  I personally love him with full make-up and out-of-this-world clothing, but my neighbour next door would not like it. Having said that I think if Adam can just get in the public eye and people can see what an awesome and well-grounded guy he is (even if he wears his guyliner *roll eyes*), be it as a judge on Idol or The Voice or wherever. People must just have an opportunity to listen to him when he talks/sings as we have done over the last years, I have no doubt they will change their minds about him. With that of course I'm sure people will also be more enlighten about things like men with make-up, gay issues, etc. |

Doesn't work for me either.  BTW - I don't care for Clay Aiken - at all. I think he was totally jealous of Adam and worried that his fans were liking Adam when he made his nasty remarks about Adam's singing. Haven't liked him since then. I think he is petty and not so nice. |

What an amazing young man! So powerful. Thanks for posting, Mellie:))) I have to say I also loved Brad's speech Nica posted the other day. Especially what he said about femininity:))) And the award he got is so well-deserved. |

YAY I got my internet bandwidth (?) / speed back  I have a really crappy mobile contract that slows down my connection if I use up my lot - sooo full speed ahead today and what did I miss?? A whole lot it seems ... I tried to keep up at the office but that was not much, couldn't watch any YT, no gifs, really just the bare bones of gorgeous Atop *sigh* One important question now: There was someone who wanted to come to Vienna (300 km away?) for the Life Ball opening .... !!!!! Come on PM me, I wanna meet up!!! Unfortunately I won't meet chapf, the schedule doesn't work  |

I think he is petty and not so nice. I still have a soft spot for Clay, I used to love his snark especially in concert with his back up singers, that was fun! But he is not gracious, not kind, if the person is outside his box he can get nasty ... not judge material IMO Also, I can not understand how anyone can imagine Clay in a show that is supposed to promote future artists when he himself was always much too shy/timid/orwhatever to ever promote himself or his own music. ETA: The link works for me, but I wont take the survey since AI is of no interest to me at all ... except next season of course, if they get smart for once ... |
