Titanium - 498,407! I figure if we keep at this for the long haul we will overtake one or two of the others because they may not be as committed long term as we are. I agree .. just keep on keeping on... YAY almost at 500,000

Man those Idol Judge rumors are spreading like wildfire. I'm glad there's something fabulous going on to distract me from the speculation. Yeah....this ought to hold your attention!

Here is something for your entertainment while we wait. I have found YouTubes for some music that will be performed in the opening ceremony. Here is what Q3 posted on page 1.
Life Ball Fanfare by Bela Fischer.“Marsch Pompös“ (??) from the “Aladdin Suite“ by Carl Nielsen
(Having a bit of trouble with this because all the recordings and references I found have English titles and none of them match this. I think it must be what is called the "Oriental March" because it is the only movement of the suite that has "march" in it. If any of you German speakers can help on this, I appreciate it.) Turkish OperaTwins Sinem Balik and Didem Balik
(Not a very good orchestra (non-pro) but you can hear the singing fine.) “Scheherazade“ by Rimsky-Korsakov(Scheherazade's theme is played for the first time at 1:00. This is a long piece but one of the most famous classical orchestral works. I've had the pleasure of playing it a couple times.) Desmond Richardson, Danceren.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desmond_RichardsonLidia Baich, Violinist (kind of glamorous for a violinist--yes, I can say that since I am one and know many) www.lidiabaich.com/index.php/en

The NY Post has picked up the E! News story and still no denial from anyone -- www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/jennifer_hudson_signs_on_as_idol_fCWidolcO2uiswHW1vT5BLThe only response is Kelly's reps saying she will not be judging American Idol but oddly did not deny that there was a discussion. It still looks like a story that everyone is happy to let run through the weekend so that it masked the bad news about Idol's ratings (down 22%), Mike Darnell departure and the poor single sales from AI12 singles -- Candice did not even sell as much as Adam's NoBo! On more important Idol news, Titantium is up to 498,407 and should hit 500,000 on the next update. Now, that we have the FOX Reality chief fired on Friday before the holiday long weekend, I am thinking that the whole "all alums panel" was planted as a distraction. It seems that all the articles are based on the same confused "sources" and just regurgitate the same info. Is it "good" to have Adam involved in these rumors? I am usually on the "any publicity = good publicity" team but in this case I am starting to doubt... it is getting too tedious too early... In any case, TODAY IS A GREAT DAY!!!! BERTING LEVEL - OFF ANY SCALE!!!!
