I'll never find the tweet now, but someone said Adam was Ali Baba and the 40 Layers.

This coat reminds me of the Sleepwalker coat. It has strap in the middle of his tummy to keep them in place together. I'm thinking they modify his dark blue Sleepwalker coat and added more stuff on it and ..... ABRACADABRA .. ALLAKHAZAM ... we got a new beautiful ALI BABA coat. With the amount of VERY EXPENSIVE SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS on this jacket, I just cannot see them modifying the used and likely warn Sleepwalker coat. More likely they constructed another coat in the same style that Adam likes. There are far more Swarovski crystsals on this jacket than on a typical $4,000 ballroom gown. So I would estimate the worth of this jacket at $8,000 - $10,000. But then Swarovski was a sponsor of the event, so they may have donated, or at least given at cost, the crystals. ETA - There is cost not only in the large number of expensive crystals, but also in the labor to glue or sew all of them on. (Ususally the larger stones are sewn and the smaller ones glued.) I've made my own ballroom gown with about 1/20 the number of stones and I spent maybe 10-15 hours gluing stones on. But I've seen experienced ballroom gown makers work much faster than I.
