I want a referral to Barbara Eden's plastic surgeon. That is some work done right - a little here, a little there and she still looks exactly like herself. I was thinking the same thing. Most celebrities who get cosmetic surgery done look so strange. She looks lovely and normal. Yes, unlike that lady with the overblown lips (shudder!) They (the lips) looked ready to devour New York (slight exaggeration)

I remember QueeenAl saying that on a fan video but I didn't think it was the same one. But after all the vids and pics I've seen in the past couple of days....I really have no idea! lol Could very well be another one, adamrocks! Grateful to you for posting it - I'm watching everything! Good Morning! They are two different fan vids from two people who were standing close to each other. I had to check twice, but they are different (the one I commented on is more blurry and the music is harsher and piercing). The "newer" (to me) video has great quality, also this person had a little better view / angle to the stage! Have a nice day, everyone

Just wanted to back up QueenAI a bit and say that the German 'Paradiesvogel' is a completely normal expression, is not negatively weighted, especially not when used about a person, whose livelihood is in the performing arts. A lot of this trollish negativity you might find in blogs in the USA or occasionally even in more serious news outlets here, is just not even a topic in Germany or Austria. There is a long tradition of extravagance in the visual arts and there have been many chapters and forms of expression over the years. Back in the old Planet Fierce days (or maybe Atop 1, not sure anymore), we had a few threads of discussion on this topic and the expression Paradiesvogel was part of it, because it is one of the best ways to translate flamboyant character into German. This journalist wrote this completely intentionally this way, because this is an expression anyone could easily equate with Adam in German, if they gotten to know him a little and Stern has interviewed him previously. Stern is also anything but conservative, left leaning actually, so assuming any negativity here is really jumping to conclusions and has no basis. The expression was also used by Radio Energy in Berlin and on other occasions that I now have difficulty recalling exactly. Yes, the expression can occasionally have an undertone of gay, not always the case, but it can be an undertone. It also occasionally is used with a bit of bemusement, by those who are watching from the outside, but there is no tone of judgement in all of this. Just entertainment value, usually. On the vocal discussion: I am leaning towards live singing over the backing track, but on the recording the microphone feed was dialed back a lot. The live audience probably heard more live sound. I also sense that Adam sang extra loud the whole time, perhaps because he did not hear himself very loudly in the mix. So, that is my theory, but otherwise, I am also not terribly phased whether it is one or the other. I think this is more a question of being able to convince those that are always questioning everything, rather than a REAL issue. Adam can sing his face off and those that don't want to believe it are not going to be argued out of their perception, I believe. I suggest: Let those that think he is lip-syncing because he is this - oh so bad a singer - duke it out with those that explain how Adam has an 8 octave range. There is no cure for insanity, you can only stay away from it. Finally, I have not had time to read yesterday's thread yet, so if there was something there to translate, I will catch it eventually. Here now, what Clematis asked to get translated back to English (the German voice over is so loud that you cannot really hear Adam talking starting at 1:52 in the video): www.krone.at/Videos/Zahlreiche_Kostuem-Variationen_zum_Motto_1.001_Nacht-Life_Ball-Video-362976"Ich mag es, dass das Leben gefeiert wird und es so positiv ist. Ich finde es auch gut, dass über die Thematik offen gesprochen wird und nicht wie ein Tabu behandelt wird. Es ist nichts wofür man sich schämen muss, aber etwas, worüber wir sprechen sollten." I like that life is celebrated that it is so positive. I find it great that we openly speak about the topic and not treat it like a taboo. There is nothing to be ashamed about, but this is something we should be talking about.

Terra terra_zephead Protected account 3m I've UL all the HD caps made by @bdwaydiva1's friend + a 320kbps MP3 of Love Wins Over Glamour www.adamwiki.org/wiki/2013-05-25_Life_Ball_2013If you want a mp3 version of the song, Terra's is likely the best quality you can find now. ETA - Click on "HD720p TS caps recorded by dylwys, courtesy of LaStupenda" and it will open a Mega Beta download link with the 2 TS files and the MP3 file. Right click on the MP3 file and select "download". ETA2 - OH, just noticed that the TS LWOG file has 4 audio streams in it, which is likely why the audio won't play in Windows Media Player. But in VLC Media Player you can select which audio stream to play. On the top menu bar of VLC, click "Audio", then click "Audio Track". Select "Track 3" for the best quality audio. Terra used track 3 to make the mp3 file. Audio Track 1 (the default) is the 2nd best quality. Tracks 2 & 4 are the same and the lowest quality audio. I've lost track of how many DLs I have...MP3s, M4as, etc....but I love the one that dancy posted above from terra. And anybody who has a HD computer monitor or a hookup to a HD TV set, you should definitely DL these TS files linked above. There is no comparison watching the performance on a TS file. The picture clarity and the sound are in another league to any of the Youtubes. You can see all the gorgeous sparkles on the jacket as well as all the detail on his face. My next project is to learn how to make DVDs from these TS files that we've been privileged to get lately. I was going to say try Freemake, but I tried it and while it did indeed make a DVD from the LWOG TS files is was absolutely crappy. The thing about TS files is that TS is NOT a video format. TS is a "container" format, meaning that it contains 1 or more video streams in some format, 1 or more audio streams in some format (they don't have to be the same format), and possibly a text stream (subtitles). So, Freemake might work with one TS file and not another TS file depending on the format of the audio, video, & text streams inside of the TS file. The same holds for any other video making software, free or commercial! So you really have to look at what is inside of the TS file before you can figure out what software to use for making a DVD from the TS file!!! The best way to tell what is inside of a TS file is to use a free software called MediaInfo. When you run MediaInfo , click on "File" in the top menu bar and select the file you want to know about. Then I usually click "View" in the menu bar and select "Tree". This puts the information about the file in a nice readable list. You can download MediaInfo form: mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en/DownloadUsing MediaInfo, the LWOG TS file contains: 1) Video with the following parameters: format = AVC (AVC = H.264 = MPEG-4, all names for the same format) bit rate = 13.1 mbps width = 1280 pixels, height = 720 pixels display aspect ration = 16:9 frame rate = 50.000 fps scan type = progressive 2) Audio #1 format = MPEG Audio bit rate = 256 kbps channels: 2 3) Audio #2 format = MPEG Audio bit rate = 192 kbps channels: 2 4) Audio #3 format = AC-3 (AC-3 = Dolby audio) bit rate = 448 kbps channels: 2 5) Audio #4 (same format as audio #2) format = MPEG Audio bit rate = 192 kbps channels: 2 6) Text 7) Menu The AVC video format is basically a HD format that is used for HD camcorders, Blu-Ray discs, and HD TV. Frame rates of 25 or 50 fps are more often used in Europe, which makes sense since this was a screen cap from European TV. In the US, you would more likely see frame rates of 30 or 60 fps. (These are rounded numbers - you might see 23.976 or 29.97) So, this video is more easily used for creating a Blu-Ray disc rather than a DVD disc. And it is easier to make a European PAL format DVD rather than the U.S. NTSC DVD format from this video. Any or all of these reasons may be why Freemake, and likely other software, is having problems creating a NTSC DVD from this TS file. DVD's basically contain video in MPEG-2 format. If you look through the folders on a DVD, you will find a number of files with the VOB extension. If you copy the files over to your PC and rename them to have the extension MPG you can play them with any video player. You can even use some free software to combine the multiple files into one and thus make a MPG video from the DVD files without having to do any conversions. This is a little known secret of DVD files. So, Freemake might make a good Blu-Ray disc from this TS file - I haven't tried yet. But your best course of action for making a NTSC DVD from this TS video is to first convert the video to a MPEG-2 format and then use that MPG file to make the DVD in the DVD making software of your choice. Two possible free softwares that could do this conversion are " XMedia Recode" and " Handbrake". XMedia Recode: www.xmedia-recode.de/download.htmlHandbrake: handbrake.fr/You will need to decide how to set some conversion parameters. More on this later after I finish testing them with this file.
