So Adam responds to Wendy, but ignores Oprah?! I know Oprah is not anymore what she used to be, but still. Oprah's show contacted him (via twitter), whereas Wendy only talked about him. Color me confused. I sure hope his management did respond behind the scenes, given that he did not respond to the direct twitter, at least not publicly. I thought he was staying low because he had no news to tell (to Oprah) and therefore did not speak up, but this Wendy tweet kind of contradicts that idea. Anyone else find this strange? No I don't find it strange really. As I remember, the call out from Oprah was from her staff and they were asking him to follow them so that they could dm him....which he likely did. They were inviting a private conversation so by definition, we were not invited to the table. That was my take on the tweet....I could be wrong...

Wendy Williams is a blip on the radar.
One day, I am certain the saga of Adam will be read by my children's children's children.
They will learn of history - of civil rights - and the ongoing evolution of artistry in music.
Yes, Wendy. How you doin'?

Didn't the Oprah show indicate that they wanted to speak with him via Direct Message? Adam would have no reason to respond publicly if he's in touch with them privately! Agreed. The show specifically asked him to DM them. I wouldn't expect to see anything publicly. Wendy really annoyed me considering she kissed his ass when he was on her program.....I'm glad he let her know that he heard what she said today....and he's always so damn classy about it!

His tweet was such a subtle defense of Idol. It was pretty foolish for small, daytime talk show hostess to say that what is still one of the biggest shows on TV should just go away. He is so quick, and defends what he feels has been good to him.

Yeah, I really didn't take what she said in this segment as against Adam in particular, but against the idea of any of the alums as judges, but that IF it is going to be that way THEN she sees Kelly, Adam and Clay as the best group, but that REALLY really she is just tired of the show period. m
