It may be true that Idol's best days are behind it but boy oh boy, if Adam were on the panel, I see good things ahead! brilliant, just brilliant as Kara D would say!

Wendy Williams would be pretty flippin' lucky if her best ratings are ever as good as Idol's worst ratings. I'm getting tired of Idol bashing.

So Adam responds to Wendy, but ignores Oprah?! I know Oprah is not anymore what she used to be, but still. Oprah's show contacted him (via twitter), whereas Wendy only talked about him. Color me confused. I sure hope his management did respond behind the scenes, given that he did not respond to the direct twitter, at least not publicly. I thought he was staying low because he had no news to tell (to Oprah) and therefore did not speak up, but this Wendy tweet kind of contradicts that idea. Anyone else find this strange? No, I am sure there was come communication between Adam and/or his management and Oprah's team.

Thanks for all your answers. Hope you are right and he/his mgmt dm'd the show back. I am glad I voted. It gave Adam the 'in' to send a tweet he wanted to send and it also showed him that his fans are still here while he is working on A3 and we are keeping busy on his behalf, which must make him feel good. Indirectly, Adam is also acknowledging our effort with his tweet. Brilliant on his part, actually. Not stirring anything, but acknowledging our effort never the less. Because if he saw the Wendy poll, he probably is aware of the other more messy ones too, sadly so. Those comment sections are terrible. I think that whole VFTW dissolution made all those idiots homeless and had them move into these Adam vs. Clay polls, yikes. I am pretty sure that Adam can see the bigger picture too. If you think about it, there are 4 possible outcomes for all of this now: a) Idol chooses Clay and not Adam. This would totally suck, given that Adam really wanted the job (whereas Clay has not even said a thing, yet, he is at minimum playing the hard to get game a lot harder than Adam). I am unwilling to consider this option any further and rather say a few more prayers that these executives at Fox are not THAT stupid. There....Amen. b) Idol chooses neither of the two. Adam would be disappointed, for sure. But otherwise, the world would go on. Idol would go on, Adam would go on, and perhaps we would get a Queen tour out of it. Not all is lost. But Adam would again have to fight quite hard to get A3 further attention beyond the fanbase and to get his tour. Btw, while I am talking about tour, can we ask for Halo Circus as his next opening act? I love what she does right now. Listen to this! The end? Oh my. Loooove. www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0gaIE7smEMc) Idol chooses both Adam and Clay. I think the two would be fine and funny on idol. And I know they would behave professionally. They realize that continuing the cat-fighting that Mariah and Nicki had going into the next season, with gay guys fighting instead of women, would be damaging to both of them as well as their cause, I have not even a question about that they would both be smarter than that. But would their fan bases (and the trolls) get that memo? d) Adam gets the job, but not Clay. The comment section in People.com gives you a sound bite for what might be happening. We real fans better find a way to a) take the high road and stop the defensive posts and b) figure out a way to make apparent the fact that trolls pose as over-invested Glamberts. Not sure how this is going to work.

I don't recall there being writing sessions with Justin and Adam for FYE. Music Again is a solo write by Justin. There is even a demo with Justin. Pretty sure Suburban Decay was the same.

WW is not a class act. I personally wish he never was on her show. Not to be too judgemental but I don't think he needs her fans. I started watching her show a bit after they tried to fly a friend of mine in as an "expert" on one of their episodes. When my friend told them her area of expertise had nothing to do with the topic at hand, they tried to persuade her to represent anyway. WW was very nice to Adam when he was in front of her face but that show is just trash IMO.
