Neat to see him front and center like that, but would also love to see him featured in their Entertainment section sometimes. That would be a signal that he has more mainstream acceptance at The Huffington Post. I think they need to hire Adam to come up with a better "why" they did the picture this way. People just don't get it. |

Wow! Just thinking about Adam just being in Russia 3 months ago. Scary!! Don't we have some members from Russia? I really feel bad for Adam's fans in Russia. So he cannot have concert there anymore? Or maybe he can if Adam choses to perform in Russian's traditional costume?  I guess all of Adam's music will be banned.. folks trying to buy the cds will be supect of being pro gay. the implications are terrifying. Is Russia returning to a cold war and to an iron curtain again... Going backwards with Putin... no free elections,scapegoating,arms to Syria.. Poor Russian people they had a glimpse of freedom with Gorbochev and now this government is jailing dissenters.. IMHO,this is not looking good,It may be a return to a very ugly past filled with hate,discrimination ,no free speech and Siberia. I can't tell you how many times my aunt returned to Russia in the 70,s to try to buy our relatives out of Russia. She was not allowed to visit them in their homes. They had to meet in a park to talk.. the KGB was all over the place ,listening,watching..I have to say from my experiences.the repression usually starts with a target and scapegoating,then new laws follow.Then if there are funds and Russia allows it,eventually mass exit of those who chose to leave the country.. This targeting of the LGBT community is really scaring me. MY grandfather was killed in a pogrom for being Jewish....Jews are still targeted.. Adam being both Jewish and Gay had me jumping out of my skin when he performed in St. Petersburg.. |
