Not to mention the media tweets in German, French,, Spanish and other languages I can't even identify, the news is GLOBAL:))))) WOW, was not expecting this either! BIG yeah... Will be interesting to see what role he plays and how his acting skills are. If any good, this will open a LOT of doors for him. My only hope personally is that he is not so much of a "regular" that this role, whatever it is, becomes his imprint. BUT, we know that won't happen. He will keep many more doors open beyond just Glee:-)  :-))) |

OK this is my take... Talk of 80's songs ,Brian said Queen would likely do something with Adam on TV, Glee does covers....could they all be coming together.. in some type of Queen on Broadway or Queen Tribute? Great minds and such... Hahaha, yes this thought occurred to me too... Makes sense... |

[laughs] Oh c'mon! I thought it was cool! "You-dissed-Russel-Crowe-let's-see-ya-do-better!!" They set a bar against an A-lister with a huge commercial film! (And yep I'm sure Adam can meet that bar so there!)   What's so weird about the comment that the LA Times made was that Adam seemed to be specifically speaking of the SINGING not the ACTING. So, I don't understand why they seem to be throwing down some sort of towel. Oh well. I've been sooooooo happy today. When I told the news to my dh he actually gasped and then "whooped" out loud. Now, he supports my Adam addiction and he does think Adam is a very generous performer but he doesn't play the You Tubes, etc. So, I was actually suprised by his excitement about the Glee news. As I was shopping today I paused for a momemt as I was particularly happy. I had to stop and think about what it was that was making me feel abnormally joyful. Then, once I checked into all the possible reasons, I realized it was the Adam news. It's just such a wonderful development for him. It's a thrilling turn of events. I think about all those radio tours and interviews -- just endless -- and I'm just so pleased that hard work and determination can pay dividends! |

Well fuck a duck. This is the best news evah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We wanted tv exposure...well,we got our wish. I am so excited, I could drink a beer at 11:00am. Well Adam my boy. Album #3 will be a smash with this exposure. Hahaha, I AM going to crack a beer and "cheer"!!! |

And... if Queen should be in the neighborhood (US), why not do a few concerts here. #keepondreaminbig I feel Glee is a much better opportunity than AI judging. It doesn't mean he couldn't make an appearance or two as mentor or to push a new single. But I'd rather have him working on an album than sitting in that chair - as long as he has the Glee spot. I am so happy for Adam (and us)! As so many here have said - if he can just be seen and heard by people on a regular basis, the talent and charisma will take care of the rest. It will be win win for Adam to be on often, if not every week. So I hope his role is one that can be a continuing one, coming and going as he needs (albums, tours, etc.), but being seen very frequently by millions.  |

Blainebert here....Kurt has no appeal for me. haha I also like the idea of Blaine's older brother as a "friend of Adam's, as per someone else's recommendation. (sorry can't remember who on the thread suggested it ...but I like the idea.) Adam can be himself and meet Blaine/or B's brother and they start as friends, and maybe progress to something else/or not ...but the implications of Adam's regular life can get jazzed and up re-created so nightclubbing, pool parties, Broadway and show auditions, cry on Adam's shoulder/get advice plus Adam's regular life performances can filter into Blaine's life, that is expanding beyond high school. That to me is the reality of the kids on this show. They cut their teeth in high school productions and with graduating start looking to make strides in the real world/get breaks as per Rachel. Smash had that story line or more evolved...but Glee moved there but at a junior level. Oh these dreams of ours...can't wait for the reality of it. How does Glee work... will they create a few shows in advance this summer, debut the season, then create more episodes as the season progresses? I have no clue what kind of time, in months, it takes to put a show like this on. Just wondering???? |
