I was pretty confident that we would get a new label announcement tomorrow, now I am wondering if Monday's big news is Queenbert at iHeart radio festival. The iHeart lineup will be announced at 8:30 am ET, so we will know soon enough.

I really like collective efforts and it makes me feel good to participate, be it voting or playing a song.
I have been clicking both Titanium and SSB several times every day. However, I think that even though these songs are beautiful (and I find myself not only letting them play but also listening to them often) we could, after reaching the 1M mark, focus our efforts on something else.
Personally, I think that I'll move on to playing TP lyric video (maybe combined with another song). It probably won't make a difference one way or another but I find it worthwhile and very easy to do, especially if I have company.

It is not being noticed and has not made an impression. So if you enjoy doing it, then I say do it. But if you are doing it because you think it will make a difference, I strongly recommend passing. The video is almost 2 months old. It is not getting news coverage. It will not go viral. And if it did it would help Angie not Adam. Regarding doing something like this for rallying, why not pick something to do in Adam's name that will make a difference and be noticed. Stream his single on a measured media, put together something for Trevor Project in his name, build an online art project, share some great video of Adam, etc.? I am posting about this because I have received a number of emails and PMs from fans who are doing this and want to know if it matters. no one in the music industry doubts that Adam is a great vocalist, so picking a video that demonstrates he can sing makes no sense to me. If there is a question about Adam's potential success as a recording artist (and I do not believe there is, I think there is a view that RCA mishandled Adam and that Adam needs a different creative environment), the doubt would be about his capabilities as a singer-songwriter to connect with a large audience. So, if you want to help Adam, and you want something to rally around, them here are choices for a video -- my recommendation is the Trespassing VEVO Lyric Video -- Adam will earn a little money for every play as a bonus. I think your recommendation makes senses.. yes it's Adam's voice in the Titanium YT, but it's not his own song. We contribute more to Adam if we play his official YT video, like Trespassing. |

Hey all....I am having my own MASHED POTATOES moment here......because it just makes no sense that Queen would come here with their equip. for an iHeartRadio gig. And we have figured the TV hints could well be tied to Glee...so....What if..... Adam fronting Queen at the iHeartRadio gig is the way he is introduced to the Glee cast some how! It could make for some great cross promotion for everyone involved. The timing is about right.....

I like "Get Lucky" - at last something in radio I can listen without being bored to death. Funky, catchy. Not to mention Daft Punk record after all those years of waiting! (I'm a fan from the begining and always will be)

Just curious about the piano in Titanium; when Angie stands up to sing, the piano playing doesn't skip a beat. How is that possible? Editing? It's a live performance, not edited at all. Right before she gets up, the full orchestra has kicked in. |

WOW this is GREAT.. we can use this for lots of things.. loving it... BTW WE ARE NOW AT 987,004 P.....U....S....H - you are so great at pushing us! ![]() I am thinking may be we should be pushed to stream and play Adam's songs.... I remember Shosh encouraging us to play Titanium and I was really puzzled by it...now I am thinking it was at the time of Glee negotiations perhaps..but I really see no benefit at the moment... where as Adam's music needs attention. Obviously we can;t make much of a dent but it is better than nothing... Thanks Nica .. You're right about getting Adam's songs played ..In fact I was a major nag with Lyric Trespassing. When we got that to a million,I stopped. I'm just a bit played out right now, with a upper respiratory something. So I would love to help ,but need a bit of retirement from Pushing after Titanium.. hugs.. Just to say I think that The duet with Adam and Angie was something very special on American idol. A&A sang only a bit of the song and maybe the other final songs have gotten more hits, But to me ,It's other worldly,heavenly.I've been so committed to it because it moved me beyond a total explanation.. |

I like Get Lucky, too. Not for Pharrell's falsetto but for the funky, catchy, sticky background. It makes me want to dance and brings back happy memories from the disco era. For dancing the rhythm is the most important thing and repetitiveness gets a pass.
Shady is even better but when I want to sit down, listen and enjoy, I choose something totally different.
