Hey all....I am having my own MASHED POTATOES moment here......because it just makes no sense that Queen would come here with their equip. for an iHeartRadio gig. And we have figured the TV hints could well be tied to Glee...so....What if..... Adam fronting Queen at the iHeartRadio gig is the way he is introduced to the Glee cast some how! It could make for some great cross promotion for everyone involved. The timing is about right..... A number of concerts at the MGM have been recorded for DVD release and/or PBS broadcast. Examples - Celine Dion, The Tenors. So they could do a concert for the iHeartRadio and it be filmed for TV broadcast. But, I would not expect this to be the case here.

They are excited about 100 retweets? Adam tweets he had a tamale for lunch and it could get 100 retweets. His last Tweet --- the QUEEN photo got 679 RTs. His last Reply -- Run Forest Run got 436 RTs. His Reply to Ryan about Glee got 3,793 RTs. ** By the way, these RTs of Adam tweets matter. (ETA: Just to be clear, the retweet of the Idol Tour 2013 promo above is not an Adam RT. ) ETA: Just add Shady to list list of "Why I am glad RCA is gone!" Of course, one hundred tweets are almost nothing. Anyway, I didn't find the number of the post so interesting as the difference between the number of retweets (voices for Adam & Angie) versus the number of favorites (voices for Candice & Jennifer) and how quickly they got those retweets - and I think it was especially thaks to Glamberts (I know Angie fans retweeted that tweet as well, but I'm sure most of the retweets were made by Glamberts). I checked it and it didn't take more than 2 hours to get the 100 retweets (and IdolTour2013 didn't have much more than 100 followers then - all of them for sure weren't Glamberts so they got retweets from many Glamberts nofollowers, including me - just saw the tweet on my feed and retweeted it ). In their second duel Nicki Minaj versus Mariah Carey fans they got 32 retweets for Nicki and 2 favorites for Mariah and it took 4 hours twitter.com/IdolTour2013/status/356527617463156737. I know this is not an important thing. Still to me this is another proof Adam's fans cares and are willing to support anything Adam is involved in.

I enjoy trying to figure out the news in advance but I am very cautious of moving from guesses to thinking something will happen. Remember Idol judge BS from last year. I keep see posts here and else well that Adam has a new label. We do not know that. I think he has a new label deal, but he may not. And no fan knows anything about what is really going on. Since it is Billboard, and based on that letter, and JambaJim's tweet, I think Billboard has the article and it is that Adam has a new label deal. That also makes PR sense for a Monday follow-up to this story. And my guess is Shirley wrote the article. BUT that is all just guesses. I can figure out lots of reason why Adam could choose to be an independent artist and just sign with an indie label who has a distribution deal with either Sony or UMG. He would make a lot more money that way and he would have control. And I do not think they would have put that last sentence in if they did not have a deal. "My passion for the music & respect for the fans will always come first. I am excited to find a new label team who shares this vision." Q3, I know absolutely nothing about independent artists, so could you explain what a distribution deal entails and how his music could get pushed to radio should Adam go that route? Thank you! Adam needs a strong radio team behind him. An independent label isn't that. His new lable is either KidsinaKorner (my number one guess) or Cherry Tree (just because of his poem.) The mashed potatoes are strong for Kids though!

Here are a few examples: "American Idol season eight winner Kris Allen is no longer with RCA Records, a label rep confirms to The Hollywood Reporter." "In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last week, newly appointed RCA Records CEO Peter Edge confirmed that the 25-year-old DeWyze is no longer on the label." "Katharine McPhee of American Idol season five has been dropped by RCA. A rep for the record label confirmed the news today." "American Idol Season 9 runner-up Crystal Bowersox has split with label RCA/Jive, a rep for the singer confirmed yesterday to TVLine." RCA almost always has a rep make an official statement for the press -- [not a press release]. There are some cases where they say "no comment" but they are rare. And usually an official confirmation is made later. "RCA had no comment on reports that Justin Guarini, the second-place finalist for the first season of "American Idol," has been dropped by the label." Later a rep confirmed the departure. Yes, they could no comment Adam's departure but I do not think they can or will no comment Adam's departure. They will get too many press calls. If they "no comment", I will take it as a sign that everything is not done. And I really doubt that. Also, when Adam left 19, there was an official positive statement about Adam from CORE/19R. That is something very unusual. Leaving 19 and getting a best of luck statement. I have not researched other departures but I do not remember seeing them do that before. 99% sure these are replies to direct questions from media after the artist revealed they were dropped. Of course, if asked they will say something. But I am not expecting a press release from RCA

(Never heard of them, hence my question)

Adam's team has done a brilliant job on this. They used it to start to position him as a singer/songwriter, an artist with a creative vision that is important to him and a commitment to his fans -- more that "a vocalist" who was on Idol. This is a work of brand positioning art. I bow down at the way this has been done. "He walked because he has artistic integrity." Don't throw tomatoes at me, but without this messaging control, the story would have been, Adam Lambert dropped from RCA because his last album and recent single had disappointing sales. No one would have printed a story that RCA mishandled the singles, promotion and did not understand him as an artist and dumped Trespassing without a sensible promo plan. The other thing going on right now, it that Adam has great relationships with the press -- built over the past 4 years. They want to print good things about him. Very few pop artists have relationships like this.

From following numbers faithfully for almost 2 years now, they seem to have the strongest radio team out there

When I listen to GET LUCKY and then SHADY---it is absolutely incomprehensible to me that the former becomes a big hit and the latter gets ignored. Just unbelievable! The beats-and Nile's funky guitar- playing are prominent in both, but the quality and the range of the singing and the catchy lyrics in Shady far outshine the repetition in Get Lucky. Does it take a musical genius to recognize this???? Is it possible that the general public can only handle a minimum amount of lyrics in one song-therefore endless songs with repetitious lyrics.......Adam, you are at a different level when it comes to your gift as a musician. A big yes to that question.

(Never heard of them, hence my question) I just copied this from Wiki after googling Alex da Kid Alexander Grant, professionally known as Alex da Kid, is an English hip hop, R&B, alternative rock and pop record producer. He has gained recognition for producing singles for Dr. Dre ("I Need a Doctor"), Nicki Minaj ("Massive Attack"), B.o.B ("Airplanes" featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore), and Eminem ("Love the Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna). Even though he now lives in Los Angeles, The Evening Standard named him one of “London’s Most Influential People In 2011”. He has been nominated for numerous Grammy Awards including “Album of the Year” for his work on Rihanna’s Loud. His record label, KIDinaKORNER, is under the umbrella of Interscope Records. Grant started KIDinaKORNER Records in 2011 to work on and release passion projects that he has produced. He first signed Skylar Grey to the record label and in January of 2011, KIDinaKORNER Records released Skylar Grey's first single entitled "Dance Without You." KIDinaKORNER has since signed Imagine Dragons and released their first album, Night Visions, in 2012 It fits the hints pretty well as well as the people he started following and meeting up with so I think My S*&@^#r is on to something
