When I listen to GET LUCKY and then SHADY---it is absolutely incomprehensible to me that the former becomes a big hit and the latter gets ignored. Just unbelievable! The beats-and Nile's funky guitar- playing are prominent in both, but the quality and the range of the singing and the catchy lyrics in Shady far outshine the repetition in Get Lucky. Does it take a musical genius to recognize this???? Is it possible that the general public can only handle a minimum amount of lyrics in one song-therefore endless songs with repetitious lyrics.......Adam, you are at a different level when it comes to your gift as a musician. Well, I remember hearing once that the majority of best selling novels are written on a 5th grade level. I try to avoid such novels as I find them too repetitive! Same with music for me.

In the Aftermath of departing the label, who owns his VEVO account. Is that Adam or RCA?

Adam needs a strong radio team behind him. An independent label isn't that. His new lable is either KidsinaKorner (my number one guess) or Cherry Tree (just because of his poem.) The mashed potatoes are strong for Kids though! ok, I am taking his "hints" seriously now and I am sure those lyrics were "the story"... the line about "royalties" makes sense only in the lable context...plus that "shhhhhh" thingy... so, are these labels (Kids and Cherry Tree) have any industry weight? (Never heard of them, hence my question) I hope someone will post the "hints" and their take on them! I must have missed a bunch of connections here

OK, here is another interesting fact about Alex da Kid (Alexander Grant)
Universal Music Publishing Group's Jessica Rivera first heard about him through Grant's lawyer Scott Felcher. On request Grant sent Rivera some of his music, and the publishing executive later related her reactions to HitQuarters: "It hit me right away that this dude had something different to bring to the table ... He wasn't just straight up hip-hop – his sound was very different and transcended genres."

Daft Punk are electro-house of course their songs are gonna be repetitive, that's like complaining about a guitar solo in a rock song

Clearchannel would not book Queen for this event unless they had a CHR single out. They do not. Expect them to announce JT, Taylor Swift, Bruno, and other current CHR artists. ** Kamar, the news will be on US time. And it could be from Shirley Halperin on Billboard.com. www.billboard.com/author/6762 which means probably released after 8:30AM EDT. The news might not be amazing. I'm still thinking about all the awards show that QAL can do and it's TV performances... ALSO.. off course Super Bowl Halftime for QAL .. it's a huge TV time. I bet if they can get Q+AL in there the organizer can get LOAD of advertising for Super Bowl. AND... It's a PERFECT way to introduce the collaboration in the US... that's if they plan to have couple of concert in the US. This may have been mentioned since I am only on p. 10, but the 2014 Super Bowl will be televised on FOX from NY/NJ.
