I bet a whole glob of "surprise" guests will perform on QAL's last song (WWRY/WATC). Sort of like how they do that sometimes on awards shows. Everyone knows the song already and takes a turn singing a bit. Maybe Adam will be a guest in someone else's act--KATY PERRY, I mean you in particular. Especially since they have the same management.
That was so funny when Miley blurted out "Glambert." First thing on her mind and as if everyone knows who he is. WHY is he one her mind? He's good, he's been around her lately ....???
RCA is looking more stupid by the day. Can you imagine what some of these music biz and artists must think--ones who appreciate his talent?

I'll be darned...QAL IS doing a set on iHeart! This must be a big deal festival. Never thought I'd see Queen do a set at a US festival. Great exposure for Queen and Adam. Top billing, live, TV, steaming Expensive tickets. My heavens. But at least they are performing in the US. I agree, don't expect the label announcement now for a bit. iHeart will generate another sweet press cycle for Adam. ![]() Isn't Adam always steaming?  |

People keep mentioning Queen with Adam has "top billing" but I'm seeing them under Katy Perry for Friday show, with fun. then Elton after, maybe this isn't an actual line-up but a list, I don't know. But where is the "top billing" coming from?

Since all these stations will be promoting QAL(orALQ  ), is it possible they will play some of the songs, or at least clips, from last year's concerts in advance of the festival? For those here who have personal connections, will it be good to talk with djs about that? It seems many of them, up to this point at least, have been unaware those concerts even happened. Maybe DMG and Shoshanna have already handled that... So much good stuff coming. And it's really cute that Miley is excited about Adam! No I doubt they will play anything from QAL 2012 on US Radio. Some Classic Rock stations might play the Queen studio recordings in advance. *** adamfanem - I think Adam's career has moved up to a new level. Partly because of DMG, and mostly because he is so talented and so charming/nice. And because he has gotten support from many powerful and influential people -- Elton, Brian and Roger, Nile, Pharrel, and so on.... One thing he got from his RCA time, was the chance to work with a who's who of talent. That is priceless!! ***
Idol judges -- Miley, Keith and Adam does not make sense to me. Seems to risky for a show with over 25% non-white viewers. I do not think they will not have a judging panel with no African American and no Latino/Latina. Not happening in 2014 US.My thoughts exactly. IMO if Keith stays there is no chance for another white male on that panel. But even if Keith leaves I am not feeling Adam there at all... not with the new mgmt ... |
