Ryan Murphy never a guarantee whether Adam's going to have a regular part, it's just us, fans, wishful thinking. It's at lease my wishful thinking. Maybe he will only show up in one special episode, just like PLL. Who knows?! From Ryan's interview, they seem to be basing their moves on whatever is best for Lea and letting her set the direction. Considering how many times she has fangirled over Adam and spoken about how very much she wants to duet with Adam, I think it very possible that she may want Adam on these episodes. Then maybe they will write a scrip that Finn's on car accident and Adam will be Finn's second.. or third cousin that come to town.

I like your thinking!!! We also know Adam to be an exceptional caring person and an excellent counselor. I seem to remember from the very distant past that he was once asked what he would do if he wasn't in the arts. I don't think I am hallucinating but I recall he said he might be in psychology or something like that where he counseled people. Anyone else remember that?

The ticket prices for Queenbert seem to be going down a bit from the morning. Is this typical?
I am seriously thinking of caving in.

Thank you Adam for this wonderful pic from M&G in Warsaw - one of the best TOHT concerts ever!

I just think it's a little less Pop perfecty and a little more rock and roll free, impressionist, fun. Wider vibrant strokes ; ) ITA -- I think that is exactly what is going on. And I like Adam unleashed. I am looking forward to A3 more than ever. THIS!

Maybe this morning they think people are going to be so panic and will just grab whatever available out there, so they set up crazy price. They forgot it will be on TV this year.

Someday someone please explain the "mashed potatoes" thing to us newbies, but in the meantime, it's a blast reading all this. Like the Adam Lambert version of the DaVinci code. The mashed potatoes come from Close Encounters of the Third Kind... like, if you play with your mashed potatoes long enough, some kind of truth will emerge from them! Thanks for the explanations! Very clever, I love it.

Man, I am probably going to get slammed for this--and I am a huge fan, I promise!--but this concert seemed really off to me. I don't know if the stage was really small, if there were technical problems, if all that misty stuff in the air was something other than water vapor or what, but I didn't see the consistent energy and heard so many long moments of forgotten lyrics, off-timing, missed cues, and a general sloppiness to the whole thing. When I say "sloppy," it's from the perspective of a teacher who's graded a LOT of student work and I mean there seemed to be a lack of the tightness, preparation, enthusiasm, and care that I would expect from the biggest overachiever in the school. Admittedly, I've only been to two live concerts (the last one in Del Mar, which I thought was great), but I think I've watched them all online. SLO is my hometown, I've been to many a Mid-State Fair in Paso, and I know that arena; it's the not the best for concerts. (Just an aside, the Performing Arts Center at Cal Poly SLO would have been a great venue.) But he's played less-than-ideal venues before and he still sounded terrific. Listening to the videos of the Paso concert, I thought there were great moments, but the concert overall actually sounded more like a rehearsal to me. Granted, Adam's rehearsals and sound checks are better than most other artists performances and he really has set his own bar stratospherically high. Casting no aspersions on the man or his talent or his commitment. It's just a weird feeling to watch the videos of a concert and think it looked and sounded off and below par and then read that others thought it was the "best" on any level. If I'm the only one, I will consider getting my hearing and eyesight checked and my head examined, but I'm just curious if anyone else had any of the same impressions. I loved all the vids available- wish I could have been there. Thought the performance, vocals and looks were great. I think we see so many great performances that we tend to get blase about them. It's like eating the best chocochip cookies over and over. After awhile, no matter how spectacular, they just don't WOW us like that first one. And, as we are all individuals, various parts of a concert push our buttons differently- some like the cute and sweet. some like the sexy and some like the dorky- apples and oranges. I, for one, would never criticize your opinion. That's what makes this site so much fun We can agree to disagree- I hope. Absolutely, nannygoat, I think we can always agree to disagree. And I still get wowed when I think I couldn't be wowed more, no matter how many times I bite into that Adam cookie :-)
