I don't think for a minute JLo is coming back. This show is trying to move forward. Why would they rehire a judge that had a horrible second season, did not improve ratings, and was panned across the board? Reilly has done everything right so far. Last year he let Darnell make big decisions. I don't think he is going to make a mistake like that gain. I believe that Reilly is in charge and knows what he is doing. Soooo...Shirley is being fed misinformation? For what purpose? Media hype?....I agree that rehiring JLo would be totally counter productive but why is Shirley of all people throwing her name out??...we poo poo'd her RCA nasty bit and it turned out to be correct. If Adam hadn't said he'd love to be on the panel, I wouldn't give Idol another thought...but damn...WilliAm? JLo?? over him?? Grrrrr! Misinformation? I'd say old information. Except for Dr Luke there is little new information in that article. JLo's been mentioned before, will.i.am mentioned before. JHud is the exact same info we've had since beginning of June which has never been confirmed except by sources. Besides Dr Puke, the only new thing is the confirmation that Adam has been negotiating. will.i.am is horrible on the Voice UK. If FOX saw those at all he has to be out.

Evergreen, you are clearly picking up exactly the same crumbs, I am. And wasn't Shoshanna tied to Simon Fuller and Co in 2009, as far as I remember, when Adam first met her? But even after all that, I did think that she was doing promotional work for RCA in her former capacity before she left that former company of hers, so not sure what mys*&@^#r means here with no ties to Sony. But yes, Shoshanna was vague about a lot of questions and was clearly independent for a while. Whatever is in the works has not just started yesterday. I didn't say there were no ties to Sony. She has Sony clients. I said she is not tied to Sony. Evergreen implied she only had Sony artists and that is not true. Yes, some of her clients are not Sony artists. Shoshanna left Sony in 2011 and never had any tie to Simon Fuller. She ran Sony PR -- in 2011 she left to form a division of Outside Organisation division: From 2011 - Shoshanna Stone, music PR for the likes of Britney Spears, Usher, Shakira, John Legend and The Hoosiers, has left Sony after seven years to head up new Outside Organisation division, Outside Edge. The above artists are joining her in the move, where all aspects of their publicity (press, TV and online press) are being handled. Willow Smith and Justin Timberlake are among the names keeping their publicity in-house, with Sarah Hall handling press and Jody Moore at Lucid PR handling TV. www.prweek.com/uk/news/1052665/Then in 2012 Shoshanna formed an independent company, Edge Publicity www.edgepublicity.co.uk. London. Her clients include Britney, Adam, Shakira and JLo. ETA: In a strange way Shoshanna is tied to Simon Fuller -- Simon via 19 Management was supposed to manage Adam's launch into the UK marketing in 2009-2010. It was a cluster-fuck mess and Shoshanna was asked by Sony to pick up the pieces and fix it.

Oy Vey, the Idol judging! I have to admit I want this for Adam because he seems to want it. I think his recording career is only part of how he will entertain us. As much as I want new music and a tour (so bad I can taste it), I also want well-paying, fulfilling, creative outlets for Adam in whatever venture he chooses. If he doesn't get it, I have no doubt he will have other amazing things in store for us/him. Craazyforadam, I love your speculation. I think the cooling off on Jhud is interesting. My guess... there was momentum after the finale, but it waned with time and new producers. I also come back to Ryan's comment about the panel being "special." I know that could just be Ryan's hyperbole but it could also mean there is something "special" about this year's show......... what could that be if not former Idol judges? Here's a backwards twist on the SH article. Do you think Adam's team could have floated the idea to Shirley to do an article on the judges to keep Adam's name in the mix? As Mys*&@^#r pointed out, the article did mention they were still in talks with Adam. Shirley does seem friendly with Adam and his peeps. Nope, don't believe SH can be had for such floating of names. She is not fool. And Adam can get his name into papers by finding some creative way to use hairspray, for all its worth. Also, Ryan saying that something is special is like a car sales man telling you that some car is special. It means nothing. But I do take his reference to making the long standing idol viewers happy again, as something old is part of the mix. JLo unfortunately qualifies, and of course, Adam does. Keith does, but I don't think that was meant. If this becomes the panel, then I will watch of course, to see Adam, but I would be seriously worried about idol's chance to be successful with that combination. Now, I have a question: Darnell is now over at NBC and in charge of The Voice, as far as I know, and good riddance, as far as idol was concerned. Idol brought this Swedish guy in and then they pulled the two Divas producers over. How the hell did Reilly get to call the shots again, isn't he somebody who was around for all the years of this downturn in ratings and did nothing useful about it? What did I miss here? Where was that announced?

Lady Maserati, Matt Carter took all his information from the Shirley Halperin article and put his spin on it.
