Adam Lambert @adamlambert Has everyone pre-ordered the upcoming @avicii album #TRUE ? I co-wrote and sang "Lay Me Down"! Excited for you all to hear it! Does he think we haven't heard it?!?!? I just want to buy it! ETA: Idol appears not to have the judges together yet, so I be they only announce 1 or 2 or the 3 judges tomorrow. Too bad because I really want this to be over. And I tried really hard not to get wrapped up in this again this year! |

 But she ain't sung yet! I discovered something about myself today. Thought I had watched AI for a long time but I stumbled across a web site that showed all the winners/runner ups and I didn't know most of them or if I knew the name didn't remember watching them. Just Adam and I didn't watch the show except for him. Just FF to him and then fast forward to Paula and Simon. Hello grandduchesspf it would be nice if you can show the link to that page. How do royalties work when someone has co-writing credits and does the vocals on one cut of an album. I imagine the cut would be bigger the bigger the sales.

I'm questioning buying strategy. buy Album from Amazon and then single from Itunes. Saw Patti suggest it on twitter and that seems to be a way to run both ends against the middle. Give the album a hit and then run up Adams numbers on the single? My wallet has been crying to give Adam some money. Plus Stub Hub has been calling my name.

I'm questioning buying strategy. buy Album from Amazon and then single from Itunes. Saw Patti suggest it on twitter and that seems to be a way to run both ends against the middle. Give the album a hit and then run up Adams numbers on the single? My wallet has been crying to give Adam some money. Plus Stub Hub has been calling my name. I would just buy and gift the single. You can do a few on iTunes and a few on Amazon.  Selling the album will give Adam the same royalty as 1 single and not do much for Adam. JMHO. For that we have to wait until the single is released. Note: Avicii has enough fans that we do not need to help him sell albums. |
