Alright.. will.i.am and JLo are like two DIVAs or going to be like Mariah Carey and Nikki M. They're going to compete with each other to get more camera attention. LOL Oh dear - in that case, maybe poor Keith will have to sit in the middle again.....  LOL.. that will the only entertaining things from the judging panel... Watching him making faces.. |

OK, I have been lurking in the background for a while and want to delurke to comment. I too was in angst about AI and would be happy to see Adam on my TV each week, But this morning DH and I were talking about Adam. He said when driving in a northern state for vacay with friend over the weekend he heard a commercial for winning tickets and they said Adam Lambert and rare appearance by Queen. Soooooo, that opened a door for me to talk about Adam. I mentioned to him about the AI Judge possibility and he said "Why would you want him to be on a show that is declining. That wouldn't be a very good thing to be involved with....." He is the average "Joe" kind of guy so I found that comment VERY interesting and actually spent the morning sort of hoping he wouldn't get the judge position. So now that we know the outcome I am not too sad. Sure if Adam wanted it, and sure I would like any opportunity so see him on the TV, BUT I just Feel the breeze taking him to higher ground and this outcome does not bother me in the least. Actually, I am relieved to finally know the answer. And to know I don't have to watch. But then again I have not watched since the first few seasons. Not even Adam's season - except the finale that year (last half that had Adam on) and after the fact watched his segments. So, looking forward now with no angst at ALL:-) Whew, feel like a weight has been lifted. Carry on:-)))) *Hugs* Your DH and I are on the same wavelength on that one. If Idol tanks this next season, you can bet people will be blaming the judging panel as at least one of the major reasons, no matter WHO was on it. Adam doesn't need that kind of target on his back. |

Well, I am shocked. JLo again??? People were happy to see her go. And Will. I. Am is so unexciting. This panel sounds absolutely nothing like what Ryan was spouting out about in that interview. A "special year?" and "Idol fans will be happy?" I am bored just thinking about it.
I hope Adam has a sizeable role on Glee; it is going to be hard to wait until January to see him, but hopefully we will get a few spoilers.
Now that Idol is out of the way, I REALLY, REALLY need label news. Maybe his team was waiting until after the Idol news broke---it would good timing to lessen the blow.
eta---there must be a hell of a lot of behind doors politics at Idol. JLo? Really?

Jarett Wieselman @jarettsays 39s kms15423 neither. he said there were scheduling conflicts with Lambert & J. Hudson that led them to look at other options, in so many wordsHard to know what all the "truths" are.....in the choice of judges. And we never will.....as per above " rumour". ???True or false??? I am looking forward to whatever good things the "universe" ( as Adam might say) has in store for his career. His world has been full of ups and downs/challenges with huge decisions over the past year. He celebrated one 19 change with champagne....we never saw that type of Instagram for the RCA news. Hard to know how to support Adam with the AI judge decisions, except to do what have been doing....and support the things he does DO! At least it sounds like he WAS CONSIDERED as a judge...which still says ALOT. |
