Sorry, I've been MIA all day. Been on Twitter and also lots if errands to get ready for our once a year Pool Party Bash this Saturday. ![]() Not even upset about the Idol news. It only illustrates that FOX/Idol is dumber than I ever could have dreamed. To search worldwide for the right producers, promise a revamped show, then announce retreaded judges that no one wants is well, laughable! If they had chosen great people and Adam was not one, I'd feel bad because at least it would show they had some brains. But this panel? This? Just shakin my head, for real, right now, again! You all know, I love Idol and have watched every single season! Can not understand bringing JLo back (unless it is her connection to Simon Fuller.) Can not understand choosing a judge that just ended a crappy run on UK Voice. Keith, I liked in Season 12 and he deserved another chance. It's like they are intentionally trying to run the show into the ground! And Reily! OMG! The man talks in circles! He says the show isn't about the judges but he hires JLo and will.i.ain't?! ??? The one thing I do feel badly about is that I dragged some of you into my mashed potatoes. But I live my life as an optimist. I always see the best in people and expect the best. I can't do it any other way. When they disappoint me, I move on quickly. I'd rather be Mary Poppins 99% of the time with small disappointments, then to expect the worse or nothing 99% and be surprised when something good happens. That's just me! And on the "movin on front" : Glee, iHeart with Queen, Avicii track, no RCA (Yay!) "just the beginning!" I love this man!! ![]() |

We all know Adam is a very bright man and having said this has anyone had the thought that one reason Adam was doing covers was to maneuver RCA into the covers album. As I understand it Adam refusing to do this was the deal breaker. He was getting press hits even from a keek.

Me too, bb! ![]() My thoughts assuming he has, or is in negotiations with a new label, is perhaps it won't be announced until after Labor Day. With many - think congress, the big boys on Wall Street, regular peeps taking vacations and etc in August... I think any full on media in that regard, if it is as stellar as the media week of Glee, RCA media orchestration... that September would be the best time. Everyone is back after summer and ready to roll. So that is what I am hoping for and won't get to concerned unless September ends with no new label announcement or other news about how he is going to handle A3 - or given some sort of clue about if and how A3 is going to come about.... |
