team #itshisfaceandhecanmelvinifhewantsto We're not *telling* him get rid of the facial hair. We're just *wishing* (out loud among friends) that it would go away. (Different preferences and all that.)

OMG! Every guy my son's age and a few tears younger and a few tears older has facial hair now!! Young women are loving it!!!!!!!!! He's had it for 3 months now! #hisface [laughs] I know, but a lot of it is AWFUL! I swear, both my brother-in-law and his college-aged younger brother are sporting "staches" that probably were last fashionable in the 1850's! We're talking facial hair with curls on the end, etc, etc. etc. And both of them are computer tech types, think they are cooler than cool, and have friends who are also sporting the craziest facial hair stuff you can imagine. Heck, even my hubby is sporting a beard (it suits him). So I get it. I just think that ADAM looks far better without the face fur.

Yep Mys*&@^#r: EVERY guy now days seems to have stubble... and therefore they all start to look alike. Glad to hear the younger gals like it... good for them...
My son actually does too. He goes without shaving for three or four days, then shaves. When he visits he is shaven within the first half of the day cuz he knows how I feel. But in his case he hates shaving and not because he is on a fashion trend. He is a year older than Adam, pretty good looking and looks awful with stubble, IMHO:-) And now I am not talking behind his back cuz he knows how I feel about it:-)))

kinkykiedis @kinkykiedis 46s Adam Lambert attends Premiere! Stars Flock to "Lovelace" Premiere | GossipCenter - Entertainment News Leaders gossipcenter.com/lovelace/stars-flock-lovelace-premiere-902623 … Never ones to miss a good time, Sarah Hyland showed up at the Egyptian Theater in a revealing black number, while Carmen Electra strolled by in a bright blue dress that accentuated her curves and Adam Lambert chose a black suit over a printed shirt. The bio-drama - which follows Linda Lovelace, who is used and abused by the porn industry at the behest of her coercive husband, before taking control of her life - arrives in theaters on Friday, August 9.

As a point of comparison, Cheyenne Jackson, who played the gay singing coach role on "Glee" Adam may now be stepping into, is getting a lot of bad publicity in the gay community for leaving his partner of two years, getting tattoos, and GROWING A MUSTACHE. rumorfix.com/2013/08/cheyenne-jackson-explains-tattoo-mustache-more/He also may have a new pornstar boyfriend and be back on drugs. But he is being asked to explain the Melvin! I know the backstory may not be the same with Adam. But my point is that for gay men today a mustache "signifies" going "cray-cray".

[grins wider]
I think part of the basis of the widespread sighing here is that Adam usually changes his look like clockwork. "Don't like his look, wait a few minutes and check out the next one!". But this particular look has stuck around longer than usual, and we're getting impatient to see something different!

I do not understand people who say they are Adam's fans and yet criticize his personal choices for how he presents himself - we do not get to tell him whether he has a beard or not. Along with this, there is also so much criticism regarding his career choices. Goodness, cut the guy some slack, or go find someone who meets your standards and be their fan. I'm sure this will get some people riled up, but reading all this carping when I just want to find out what he's doing and see some pics, is off-putting to me...surely I'm not the only one.
