As much as I long to see Adam on Broadway, I am not thrilled with the Glee idea. Glee is an ensemble show, and I assume it would be the same on stage. I don't want Adam as part of an ensemble on stage again. He needs to be the STAR! I am thinking more Les Miz, Phantom, Jesus Christ Superstar. Something with a meaty role vocally and character wise. Additionally, the Glee "kids" are fine as TV high school pop singers, but, most don't have the voice we expect from a Broadway show. Remember that all their singing on the show is recorded in a studio: multiple takes, enhanced vocals, auto-tune, etc. Very different from musical theater on a stage. Adam's voice and stage experience would blow them all away, which wouldn't really fit with the ensemble idea. It reminds me of "A Chorus Line." If you are familiar with it, there are a bunch of singer/dancers auditioning to be in the chorus of a show. The lead girl was a headliner who had fallen on hard times and was trying to get a job in the chorus. The director didn't want her because she was too good, too polished, and in a chorus line all are supposed to seamlessly blend in, which she could not do because she was so much better than the others. Adam would be the same.IMO, YMMV. Well Ok, I like that! (snark)

I think Adam may eventually work his way back to musical theater, but he left because he was bored with it.
Not having a major role, not being appreciated or promoted was only part of the problem.
In the theater, you have to say the same lines and sing the same songs the same way 8 times a week.
The TV series gives Adam more variety, more opportunities, and a bigger audience.
If Glee gives Adam an inch, he'll be selecting the wardrobe, rearranging the songs, and directing the staging.

Ha! I guess Adam could be Mr. Shu in the stage production.

ITA -- nothing but good stuff happening. So many things that fans wished for -- and a couple that I did not think were possible -- are happening. - Adam is going to be a Glee cast member. Not just a small cameo and a performance but a recurring part. And he is in the NY storyline with Kurt. - Adam did a EDM collaboration with the world's hottest DJ. And there will almost certainly be a live performance of it in about a week! at Nile's Dance party! - QAL are playing a show in the US -- and not just any show, but the biggest concert possible -- and it will be televised and live streamed. - And now we get a studio version of LWOG!! Something I thought was now impossible! That dry spell was totally worth it for all the magical stuff happening now wheeeee!! Glampoon--you new avi always makes me smile.

www.amazon.com/Confessions-Record-Producer-Anniversary-Edition/dp/0879309482/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1376251975&sr=8-1&keywords=confessions+of+a+record+producer. If you have the time flip through a couple of allowed on line pages and also read the comments.. It's an older book that has been updated to go with the age of YouTube,Pandora, streaming, etc. This book makes signing a record label pretty risky business, and IMHO Adam has been burned a couple of times already. I will wait and not angst about a deal.. I think Adam knows what to do and when to do it ..In the mean time I'm thrilled with what Adam is doing in the here and now.. Amazing stuff Maybe Adam wants to get all of his demos for the A3 done and then shop around for a label that gets the music he wants to record. If he already has a label, why would they not just announce it? Dancygeorgia--That's exactly what I've been thinking.

shoshanna stone @shoshannastone 58m @popjustice all will be revealed. And when so you reckon the rest of our artists will release records then mystic Peter? Expand Popjustice @popjustice 47m @shoshannastone Adam Lambert, 'fall' (autumn) 2014 via his own label with one of the majors handling distribution etc. YES! This is what I've been thinking. Twice burned and another label? Majors for distribution..hellz ya. Last two go-arounds, Adam was 1) trying to get into the biz 2) fresh off Idol with an RCA contract Adam's been around the block now..has great management, lawyers, publicist. He will create his OWN way this time. And he's social media savvy. I'm not concerned that the nitty gritty might not be all in place. This is a big decision for Adam. And in the meantime, lots going on. I'm happy. Glampoon's happy. All is right in the world.. Wonder if he'll call his new label..Melvin..for his fans, ya know???
