lol, Afterelton must have been AMA inspired from somewhere, cannot think of any place that may have done that to them yesterday, but the puzzle pic clearly is from the AMA's. The fact that I could even finish that puzzle, once I had figured out which pic it was, shows that the distance to those events has been growing over the years, which is good. It showed in many of yesterday's writings too and that was good to see too. Btw, just a question: Do you guys think that Adam intentionally put on a shiny gray suit to the VMAs to visually defend his AMA performance? Send a signal to his Glamberts, who are the only ones that would ever pick up on something like this. Kind of like last time, where he wore some piece of his AMA suit, the very first time that he was allowed back as a presenter, two years later.YES!!!! I have no doubt in my mind he did that intentionally! I was dropping my DS at college yesterday, so I am just catching up... I LOVED AMA PERFORMNACE!!!! (I was mad at the "dry" feed - first time I learned about such thing was n the aftermath of that performance)... I am sure that was the performance that put Adam on the international stage, the idiotic American "outrage" about the kiss made the country a laughing stock and Adam the hero. As usually he was ahead of times! He made HISTORY! and the times have changed dramatically! Watch the SYTYCD from last night - go to 4:15 mark - this is 4 years later on FOX!:

Wii be back after conversation takes a turn away from AMAS.. Just can't handle going back.. See ya later..HUGS Me too. Jumped page after page after page yesterday. Scroll wasn't doing the job...... I am sorry you had to do that. We were not trying to make anybody feel annoyed. But for me....it was really a good thing. We have not really done that...ever. We were censoring ourselves big time when it happened and were stopped, or shamed into stopping, other times. This is the first time, in my recollection, that those of us who wanted to talk about it, could. So don't try and shame us now, OK? I think we are pretty much done with it and I hate these "good fan/better fan" bouts so am jumping in early, before it gets to that. We all feel how we feel and those of us that really felt upset have been silenced for a long, long time. I am thrilled to see Adam come thru it so well and to know that we did indeed have his back. For all the trauma, it bonded him with all of us in a way that may not have happened otherwise. As Adam would say, "It's all good!"

Here is the interview with Jim Cantiello, where he walks Adam step by step through the AMA's, incl. the cockroach reference. Because it was Jim Cantiello and not Mike Slezak, where Adam made that comparison. There are a lot of questions today about what Adam planned or said or not, so I hope it is ok to post this today as reference. He did explain that afterwards and if you don't want to rewind the AMAs, then please, just don't click on the link www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0xLPpZsa2oHaven't watched this in SO long. And watching now... the singing wasn't as bad as I perceived at the time. Actually pretty funny now. Q/comment: was this from the West Coast Feed. Seems like when they sent over the message from the East Coast to blank out the crotch move, they blurbed out the lyrics instead - oops, LOL! Or was it suppose to be just the lyrics bleeped out? I enjoyed the conversation and yes, as someone downthread says, it is cathartic for some and an education for newer fans.

I don't want to revisit this chapter. I feel like it's been discussed enough for ME. I will jump and scroll until the conversation comes around to something that is fascinating to me. I was happy to find I wasn't the only one feeling the way I do, just as you are happy to find others who feel the way you do.

cathartic definitely. I was shut down when it happened about being scared of him so this felt soo... good. Or at least that's how I remember it. I was so new at this shit then.

I just loved that he wore that silver suit when he was a presenter at the AMA's a few years after the famous or infamous performance. When he came out out stage radiating love and gorgeousness, the audience went completely nuts showing their support for his return. He is loved by his peers and colleagues.

Adam wore the entire suit to the AMAs and OMG, twitter went nuts when we saw him! The message was clear and we loved it!!

I too think that Adam seems to be a year ahead in his songs vs what is getting awards the next year. He's certainly got the content (OOL) and the funk (Pharrell, Nile) and the voice.
