It's OK, Daenerys - don't look or even cringe because every celebrity has their 5 or 6 fans, that's why there is a bell curve. :D

I am okay with EW's ignoring Adam, as long as not Rolling Stone I'm also OK with EW ignoring Adam. I wish some other publications would follow them also because his name only gets used half the time as click bait. It also keeps the annoying fans away. For the reputable ones like Rolling Stone it's nice but for once I would like to read an article that mentions Adam without some of the fans taking over. It's the same 5-6 fans over and over and over and over with multiple posts making the rest look bad. Adam gets portrayed as a victim where America hates him and radio is clueless. He's the best thing since Elvis why can't anyone see that. I've gotten to the point where I try to avoid the comment sections but when I do peak I just want to cringe.

Daenerys, I am so in agreement with you. Sometimes I cringe as much at some of the fans' comments as I do at the haters. I have people tell me they could take Adam seriously except for "too many crazy fans". I do post supportive comments as seems appropriate in select situations. But I try not to make Adam or myself look bad. I don't go overboard, and I don't go on and on about how he is a victim suffering at the hands of the media. He is an entertainer of great ability. We don't need to make him a victim. No one loves a victim.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGUAiAxpu3EWOW this is GREAT.. What a life,he's done it all ... some talk about gay and black artists from the past.. and then a conservative movement... fascinating.. The more things change the more they stay the same. Niles Mom had him when she was 13... Adam has a great mentor.. and it started with a TWEET After watching this ,I'm thinking no worries for Adam's career.. Mellie - Thanks for posting this video today. I know others have posted it a few times before, and each time I was too busy to take an hour to watch. I didn't have time tonight either, but took the time - and am so glad I did! Nile is a true genius, and it thrills me to think he has taken such a liking to Adam. They each seem to have very high regard for the other - can only imagine what great music they will make together. Just the beginning, indeed!

I know but it pisses me off so badly. I swear if I was a non fan reading the comments I would think Adam was one big fat fail. Do fans really need to reinforce on the internet how much his U.S career isn't a success as much as they would like. Every celebrity has their annoying fans but they never post the negative aspects of the artists career they are following all over the internet. The concerns are left in their private forums.

We don't need to make him a victim. No one loves a victim. I agree and no one likes to have an artist shove down their throats. I just read a review for Phillip Phillips and it wasn't a glowing review. Not one of his fans bothered to comment and believe me he has fans. We already know Adam has haters searching for all his articles and they wait for Adam fans to comment so they can troll. If you don't give them anything they will stay away. I really don't care if Adam gets a negative review because consumers are going to buy what they want regardless what some critic says. Generally if a critic hates something is when the hipsters go out of their way to search the artist themselves and make their own decisions.

agree, posting that Adam is being ignored and only loved abroad, etc., is not helpful. think of it as educating new fans- no one wants to hear that and it makes over zealous fans seem loony.
