LOL. I know but it pisses me off so badly. I swear if I was a non fan reading the comments I would think Adam was one big fat fail. Do fans really need to reinforce on the internet how much his U.S career isn't a success as much as they would like. Every celebrity has their annoying fans but they never post the negative aspects of the artists career they are following all over the internet. The concerns are left in their private forums. I doubt all the crazys out there are really fans. Plenty of liars hiding behind their anonymity stirring shit.

I am sure there are citizens of Boston who would go to all the Yankees games if the Yankees' fans just weren't so obnoxious.
But seriously, sports fans spend hours tearing apart their teams performances and then an equal amount of time berating the umpires and referees who didn't give their favorite players a fair shake. I doubt this behavior ever stopped someone from going to a sporting event that they really wanted to attend.

I know the names very well and know which fan boards they hangout at. These are the hardcore Idol fans of Adam. These are not the ones that pretend to be "fans".

So if these are really Adam fans, what do they think they are accomplishing by their stupid, OTT comments? It boggles my mind that fans of any artist would do that. Maybe they are young excitable people who know no better and think they are actually helping Adam? Someone should tell them to STFU! heh.

As a life long Yankees fan, with 2 kids who went to Boston University, I can tell you there is plenty of obnoxious behavior to go around fans of both teams! My kids couldn't go to a BU hockey game without hearing "Yankees suck!" all night long. B-| OTT fans, and a few certifiable flakes, can be found everywhere thanks to the anonymity of the Internet. When it comes to Adam, I get discouraged too and try to avoid reading the comments below the articles. As mentioned above, it seems to be the same few culprits popping up everywhere, hellbent on getting their rhetoric out there, over and over......I like to think their intentions are well-meaning, but sometimes...... :-S That's when scroll truly is my friend!

I've read some comments from Adam fans who were pretty reasonable. Basically they were responding to the haters who like to claim that after all the hype, Adam is a big fat failure. I don't know how many times I've read that Adam's last album and singles flopped after all the money that was spent on him, and that his label wouldn't even fund a tour. I've also read many times that Adam's career is over, and that he hasn't been doing "anything". It's difficult to leave that alone because others who don't really know may actually believe that. I think that's why Adam's fans explain what he has been doing -- international tour, singing with Queen, etc.

Maybe they are young excitable people who know no better and think they are actually helping Adam?Someone should tell them to STFU! heh. They are not his young fans though. They are his older fans. These fans have never followed an artist before until Adam. If you follow other pop artists you would already know the do's and don'ts. This is all new to them. For some reason the sane fans are afraid to call them out. They don't want to act like the fandom police but I will tell you that the other pop artists fans will call your ass out in a second. Also the more successful an artist is the less need for the OTT, defensive behavior and having to prove how successful an artists is. Also fans spend more time talking about the artist actual career and how the business work.

Can someone direct me to the best Kickin In video? I really like the recorded version, and I remember there was one time it was a very close approximation, but can't remember which show now.. Are the very "best" of performances listed somewhere for those times you want to send links to newbies? Thanks!

I started to use the Astros and the Rangers but I was afraid that rivalry was not potent enough. No disrespect meant to Boston or New York. Some of the things that go on in sports arenas all over the world can be frightening. Thanks for not taking me literally. I think that those fans who are out on the edges of the bell curve exist for every actor, musician, athlete, writer, politician, or anyone in the public domain. They are easily recognized and dismissed by the majority of people they come in contact with and have little influence over the accomplishments of those they support. Mostly they are just a nuisance. I don't read comment sections for precisely that reason. And since today is contrary day and since these fans represent a statistical segment of any fandom, I would venture that the more of them there are, the better as that means the fan population is larger.

Just off the top of my head: The Wilkes Barre one is excellent, Phoenix, and Japan's Summer Sonic. ETA: Ha, ha! San Diego is good! He is very dancey! www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMBglRrJavg
