I heard this girl sing "Believe" on America's Got Talent
People were commenting on the video that she took this girl's version from XFactor UK
Well I say they both took Adam's first time ever heard slow version of the song and added to it! j/s

What I hope and predict for Adam is he will no longer be seen as not relevant. I read that under an article just yesterday from someone who hasn't heard much about him in the last couple of years. No doubt Glee will help with that. Then of course a successful 3rd album. agree. imo wwfm is the last and unfortunately the only song "known" to the masses in the US...as far as relevance is concerned I am hoping that Avicii collab would bring a change...but im afraid his fans do not care about vocals...still there is hope, especially if it becomes a single... my DD went to Electric Zoo yesterday and she was at the end of Avicii set. im waiting to talk to her and get her impression, i just txted her that the last one was w Adam, but no response so far. (prbbly rolling her eyes...) quoting myself for continuity... Just spoke to my DD and got her report from the Electric Zoo Festival: 1) They had 5 stages, Avicci was on one of the two main stages. By the time LMD was playing all the other stages were done, so most of the attendees were at the Avicci stage (that was the reason she+friends ended up there as well) and he pretty much closed the day with the LMD! The song sounded awesome and everyone was dancing like crazy. She loved the song! 2) The festival program does not list the songs but rather the DJs only. So, unless one knows the artist and their songs there is no way to find out what they are paying. Had I not told her about Adam+Nile collab she wouldn't have noticed, but she did say that she was sure Avicci fans knew who was on which song. She also thought it was a "new" song at wich point I impressed her by telling her the name of the album and the drop date

Love your story - So... does that mean you can play LMD at your house without eyes rolling all over the place? Keep us posted. Who knows - your DD may go from liking EDM to appreciating DISCO-EDM style (or not).

From the various videos I've seen of LMD, I could never really tell if the crowd liked it. Glad your DD loved it!

I'm re-watching the VMA's while doing other things to see you know who and I just have to say, there was absolutely no reason for JH to be in on the performance of Same Love. It made zero sense to me. Only distracted from Mary Lambert. For Mary to sing "she keeps me warm" is a tender moment, for JH to sing it, well it just looses something. I'm sure you know where I'm going with this. IF Adam were included and he sang "he keeps me warm" I would have been in tears. I know some people were happy he was not asked to do this because he is now just there as another artist rather than a gay artist, but I believe he has been in front of this movement and should be recognized for his contribution in front of America and not just in the gay community.

IMHO JH started the slide of Smash. Loved, loved that show but she made no sense in plot etc and after that it seemed to lose its coherency and edge. I remember thinking at the time "wonder who she knows (smirk)" I was wishing for a long run where Adam came into the plot. Heh, you know it would have happened.
