The story and the friend aren't mine. I was quoting cellophne_chst from ontd_ai.

The Idol contestants Adam tweets about being impressed with are the ones who sing lots of runs and take risks to stand out. He and HCJ are both skilled musicians but I think they would give completely opposite advice . I thought Harry was darn right unlikable this last time mentoring. But really., it doesn't matter because he is just not relevant to the contest, contestants, or viewers.

I was delighted that Adam gave a shout out to Laverne Cox. I wish I knew what inspired him to do it at that moment. We are almost finished watching Orange is the New Black. It is a fantastic show. Maybe he is watching it too! We have heard interviews on NPR with those involved with the show and it is fascinating to hear some of the back stories. Quality television, too bad only available to Netflix subscribers.

Except that the "red-head" pic is actually photoshopped, not real. No, yahoo didn't do it. It has been floating around the internet forever. Doesn't really matter to the article, I guess. But made me smirk.

I had never heard of the show prior to Adam's tweet and I haven't liked some of the shows he liked so I didn't automatically check it out. DH and I don't have cable and survive off of Netflix streaming and Amazon Prime. Feel free to PM me if you have any other Netflix streaming recommendations. BTW, I am currently watching "Long Way Around" on Netflix streaming. Highly recommend. "Join actor friends Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman for a 20,000-mile, 115-day motorcycle journey across the world from London to New York. When not fighting the elements or rough terrain, the pair take in local culture around the globe."

I think it'd be really cool if Adam guest mentored on Christina's team during the upcoming season of The Voice. A fun, brief appearance would be great publicity and he'd be great at helping the contestants---plus I'd enjoy hearing from the viewers who confuse the two Adams. Or maybe he'll be a mentor on Demi's team for The X Factor (ugh, that show) to tie in with his work with her on Glee. I could handle it if he were only on for a week or so and that would be pretty good publicity, too.

AVICII last night in NY... not the best audio but nice to see all the same. Avicci Closing Electric Zoo 2013 with Lay Me Down ft. Adam Lambert and Nile Rodgers uploaded by The Carrot Aug 31, 2013 www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdjkD3tm7Cs Wow, even with the muffled, bassy audio Adam's voice is sure clear and floaty on this one Thank you for posting, belle!
