Acting-wise, Johnny Depp would do a good job playing Freddie. But at age 50, he's too old for the part. I would pick someone like Theo James, the actor who played Mr. Pamuk, the Turkish guy who died having sex with Lady Mary in Downton Abbey. He doesn't look like Freddie, but he's the right age and with good makeup... Johnny Depp may be 50, but he looks years younger to my eyes. I think he could play Freddie as well as anyone who would have to play a character over a period of 20+ years. Yeah...he might be 50 but he sure looks younger..and he's easy on the eyes!j/s

Brian's webmistress does the tweeting on the twitter account @brianmaycom. She is also responsible for almost all of the content on his website. The only parts that Brian personally contributes are the "Letters" and "Soapbox" sections. Oh! That's right. Thanks. But Seoulmate.....I still WANT Brian!! Update from All Out:It's working – the Olympic Committee couldn't miss emails from over 47,890 of us! They've emailed the All Out office to say they're working on how to reply to our question: Olympic Principle 6 says no discrimination is allowed – does that include lesbian, gay, bi and trans people? It looks like they're rattled and trying to buy time. If more of us join in to keep the flood of emails coming, we can show the Olympic Committee that the pressure is rising fast for them to give a clear and public answer. Help us get to 75,000 emails today. Will you ask just one friend to send an email to the Olympic Committee to ask if lesbian, gay, bi and trans people count? Click to get started: www.allout.org/email-olympics-pres

Aargh, post got screwed up. I read this morning in the newspaper that some sort of Russian committee, has nominated Putin to be submitted to the Nobel Peace prize committee to become a candidate. Can you imagine, with his horrible track record for human rights.

Did I just read this right? Avicii - WMU made it to #2 on top40 chart? I do hear it played constantly on radio right now, so, I guess, I should not be surprised, but I admit I am. I think here the consensus had been...probably at #3 or 4 it would peak. So, this is great. Obviously, the better he does, the better our chances for LMD. Still holding out hope.
ETA: WTF? Now it is showing at #4. Am I nuts? Ok, ignore me, I think I better go to bed. Nope, I did not drink, I am pretty sure, I saw it just 10 minutes ago. What on earth was I looking at?
