but I can laugh, and this lady makes me laugh ... I believe that is one of the NZ Tribe ladies!! Yes, this is my friend Tracy - we both traveled to the US for GNT in 2010 and had independently (before we knew each other) planned to attend the same 3 concerts!!! It was an amazing, beautiful coincidence! A few of us caught up with her last weekend and this pic was discussed!!! :D ETA: The cap she is wearing says New Zealand and has one of our national symbols, the silver fern on it - she gave this cap to Adam at her M&G before the NZ concert - still covered in glitter!!!!

Adam Lambert is ♔! foxvegas 12s.@adamlambert a gift for you: A truly beautiful comment about you from a long-time Queen fan, posted on (cont) tl.gd/n_1rpcref.@adamlambert a gift for you: A truly beautiful comment about you from a long-time Queen fan, posted on Queen's official FB page:Freddie has always been and will always be my favorite singer of all time. However, I love Adam Lambert, he has a tremendous vocal range and brings a new light to the songs. Is he Freddie, NO...he is Adam. Unfortunately, Freddie is gone, but it does not mean that we cannot still enjoy his (and Queen's music). Give the band some credit, they love playing music and want to share it with old fans and new fans alike. Get over it...Queen will never be the same, but it doesn't mean you cannot enjoy their music with another singer. If you do not like it, go listen to your old albums, CDS or whatever and enjoy Freddie that way. I on the other hand will listen to both Freddie and Adam, both great singers with different styles. But, Freddie still rocks even after all these years!

We have a mutual friend who made the connection that we were both crazy about Adam and put us in touch.

OT but I thought this was interesting. Even an icon like Elvis had some hard moments. ♥ Adam Lambert is ♔! foxvegas 5m59 Years Ago Today: Elvis Presley Bombs on Grand Ole Opry - Why he vowed never to go back. Even happens to the best! theboot.com/elvis-presley-grand-ole-opry/ … 59 Years Ago: Elvis Presley Bombs on the Grand Ole Opry
Elvis Presley wasn’t swayed by discouragement, and it’s a good thing. The singer made his first — and last — Grand Ole Opry appearance on this day (Oct. 2) in 1954, and it didn’t go as well as he had hoped. The music icon performed on the famous stage in the very early part of his career, debuting his high-energy brand of rockabilly with ‘Blue Moon of Kentucky.’ His innovative music and gyrating performance were not received well at the conservative establishment; one of the officials there reportedly suggested that he not quit his day job driving trucks. Presley swore never to return. His lack of interest from the Grand Ole Opry may have been a blessing in disguise. The King of Rock and Roll went to the Opry’s biggest competitor, the live radio show ‘Louisiana Hayride,’ only two weeks later, and signed a contract to make 52 Saturday night appearances on the show, helping launch his legendary career. Presley went on to sell what RCA has estimated at more than one billion albums worldwide, with many of those sales occurring after his untimely death in 1977. The RIAA has certified sales of more than 134 million in the US alone. 149 Presley tunes landed in the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with 18 going all the way to No. 1.
