Bless you, mother of a tween. I teach them, but I have never wanted to "own" one. :-S haha...I've "owned" a few of them, and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Tunnel just seemed kind of long sometimes. As a mother of two children (thankfully adult already :D ) and a teacher too, I have to say - teaching them is sometimes easier than raise them. Anyway, we (our family) managed. :D

Tunnel just seemed kind of long sometimes. Eh , it's mostly that I am his mother therefore I can't POSSIBLY know anything about anything. It's infuriating, and a pretty normal part of growing up. Just gotta get thru it. But there's nothing more humbling than coming home from a professionally satisfying day of making decisions and having other people follow your directions and ask your recommendations on things and being faced with an eye-rolling 12 going on 20 year old who dismisses you like you know nothing. I can laugh now! Wine in hand, all kids in bed. And our tutor comes tomorrow. Yay!

Why does everyone assume that Elliott Gilbert is going to be a bookish and bespectacled character? Just because of the name Elliott? Elliott Gould and Elliott Spitzer don't come across as prim and reserved. I've been wondering the same thing. The name Elliot Gilbert does not make me think of nerdy. I guess because of Elliots I know in real life. I think he will be nerdy because of.... 1. GLEE tends to do broad characters. 2. Adam gave us the double trouble clue. He can't walk around GLEEland as Stardust all the time. So, I think he will be someone who is the "nice" Elliott during the day, and "Stardust" at night. Kind of like a superhero. I hope I am right because that would be just a perfect part for Adam. And, yes, Elliott is usually a name for a character who is a bit of a nebbish -- the Yiddish word for someone who is sweet but regarded as a bit timid. Like the plainclothes version of Zorro, Superman, Batman, the Scarlet Pimpernel, Spiderman, etc.

GeralynK geralynk 2mRT @gleewetpaint Glee Season 5 Spoilers: Casting For a Photographer and a Supermodel! wet.pt/GJOBylAs hard as it may be to think of Glee beyond October 10’s Cory Monteith tribute, “The Quarterback,” there will be shows after Episode 3 and, from the sounds of it, they should be pretty juicy. TVLine reports the show is casting three new adult roles for Season 5, Episode 6: “the female dean of a prestigious college; an attractive and cool New York City photographer; and a former supermodel.” With so many brand new characters in the works, our minds are spinning with possibilities! First off, it’s likely the dean of a prestigious college has something to do with Blaine (Darren Criss), Sam, Artie, and Tina thinking about life after McKinley High. After all, the four of them are seniors and so obviously need to plan ahead. Fingers crossed Blaine finds the right academic fit somewhere close to his fiancé, Kurt. As for the “attractive and cool” photographer, we’re guessing this has something to do with Rachel (Lea Michele) and Santana’s (Naya Rivera) respective ambitions to break into the New York entertainment scene. Perhaps Rachel needs some new headshots or maybe Santana lined up another gig after her unexpected TV debut as a baker with, um, a certain itch. And what’s this about a former supermodel? Could there a new hottie to mix things up in New York City? Or perhaps Ohio has a famous face visit? Maybe now that real-life supermodel Heidi Klum has faced her fears by guest starring on Parks & Rec, she’d be willing to swing by Fox for a role. The possibilities, we tell you, are simply endless. Have theories of your own? We’re all ears. Share your casting conspiracies in the comments below.
