I just won an argument with my opera singer Dad who didn't believe that it was a top D that Adam sings in WWTLF which is 3 notes higher than the glory note in the famous operatic aria Nessun Dorma!!!
Had to play him Pavarotti singing that note (which is a B ) and then straight after Adam singing the same note just before he goes up to the D! He said that the highest note he's ever heard a tenor sing in full voice is an E flat.
Then I told him he regularly sings much higher than that...and showed him the YouTube video of his range. His response was "that's just freakish"
Ummm yeah Dad I KNOW!!!!! Lol

Yes, they were acquired by a Russian media company in 2007 --- and moved many jobs from San Francisco to Russia since the acquisition. The company SUP Media also owns a Russian online news company, Gazeta.ru, that has been critical of the government. And the Adult content warning has been on LJ since the beginning when it was American owned. |
