RL kicking my behind, so very late catching up. I love this place sooooo much and everyone’s sharing was such a treat. My name comes from the fact that although I have been on several fan sites following Adam (American Idol, Adam Official, lurked at MJs, and mostly a lurker at PF and here ) I have never posted much. By the end of the day I just don’t have many words left. As I don’t post much, it’s not about what I have to say but about what YOU say - only in poor English  . Hence whatyasay. Good one! LOL  |

Happy, he LOVED him and enjoys Adam's voice as much as I do! My hubby has supported my Adam addiction all these years and patiently puts up with my "fan-girling". He makes sure our daughters and I get to any show within a semi-reasonable distance--even making sure we got to Vegas for Adam and Queen! He says seeing us so happy makes him happy. DH hasn't attended a concert....YET! But the entire family is going to Winstar for New Year's Eve! I'm truly a lucky woman. WOW!!! And awwwwwwwwwww.... And OMG!! Maybe you should consider renting him out. Or cloning him.  Wannabethesnake - I MUST meet you. Your DH sounds like my DH's lost twin. Are we lucky, or what?? |

I've enjoyed reading about name origins!  I posted at the pink place during Adam's season under a different name. As many of you may remember, it was announced numerous times that it was not an Adam Lambert fan site and we'd be better served if we found one. There were a several things that made me angry during the season and especially during the Idol tour, and when I had reached my breaking point, I left and started posting in the Adam thread at IDF under the name agnelle. I wanted my name to pertain to Adam but not be obvious. Although I don't speak French, I love the language. I looked up "lamb" in French, and the female form "ewe" is "agnelle". For fun, I just looked up my pink place name and found my review of the Idol Sacramento concert. I've cut and pasted my partial review (the Adam part) below. Note, I was completely immobilized following the concert and didn't pull it together to post a review from the nosebleeds until the next day. "Immediately following Danny's last song and mega appreciation, the stomping began. And, then, 5-4-3-2-1 A-D-A-M, Adam exploded out onto the stage with WLL, and my spontaneous screaming began. I'm almost embarrassed this morning because as I said before, I'm not a screamer, but it was Adam, and he was living up to all my expectations and then some. What I have always loved first and foremost is his amazing voice. Yes, he's gorgeous and sexy and sometimes I join in making comments on this blog for fun, but it has truly been and remains all about his incredible voice and performance skills for me. I do think he has the ability to make others feel sexy, but it isn't necessarily directed back at him or anyone else for that matter. It just is. But, I must admit I caught myself melting and swooning during Starlight and Mad World. I think my lips were moving along to the songs. I wanted to close my eyes breath those two songs in but I didn't want to miss one second of the performance. My own inner slinky awakened during the Bowie medley. I loved it all. It went by quickly and seemed like a dream. It still seems that way this morning. I will be going to his first concert, and I will have better seats. My daughter loved him too, and I have no doubt she was being honest because she screamed too." Love how you looked his name up in French and yes to the concert review. It was amazing just to watch the Idol tour on youtubes. |

I worked third shift for years, and I still prefer moonlight. also, loved "Nocturnal By The Moon". Came to Atop from I.F. Just because it's more fun. |

My screen name is about as basic as it gets. My given name is Lorraine and I wanted to just keep it real,plain and simple. I remember a time when Adam was asked what name he would like to use --on his cd, when he became a star ,. etc. He simply said "I want to be called Adam Lambert. Good enough for me...... When it's already a good name, no need to change it |

WOW!!! Now I'm wondering what did your DH think of Adam??? Happy, he LOVED him and enjoys Adam's voice as much as I do! Any gal who remotely has the skills and the inclination to fix the ice maker by learning about it on the internet....while hubby is watching tv, deserves a Winstar New Year's Eve outing....even with the kids tagging along! ( Honestly you are one lucky lady....and he is a lucky guy!) Totally off topic...so scroll on by .....but an old family story came to mind.... Reminds me of my mom who could fix anything, sew anything, and was very much a lady. My dad pounded a few nails in his time...but fix the belts in the dryer...nah mom did it....until she got a bit fed up one year. She had always exchanged the back door window for the screen in the spring. She pulled out the screen and leaned it against the wall near the stairs in the family room....waiting to see if dad would put it in. One night at the dinner table my dad says to my mom...Audrey when the heck are you going to put that screen in. (Well I am not sure my mom would have gone anywhere with dad that night...probably would have gone to Winstar on her own.) Actually....Just kidding.... my mom was stunned when dad said that....then she just started laughing and could not stop. Then she told us why she was laughing. Dad put it in after supper. |

I was eating pineapple at the time I joined, and my grandmother's name was Ophelia. She watches over me, along with my gay best friend from Victorian London, where I was an actress and played the role of his beard. I had a vision of Adam before season 8 of American Idol started, and knew he would change my life. I adore him, and always will.
